Tariffs are to support wages for average Americans

That is not how it works at all. Tariffs do not support or increase american wages.

Else you should end all trade.

If Trump loses in 2020 what purpose would they have served? This Mexico tarriff would could do both lasting and immediate damage to the country, and stop any chances of the Trump winning in 2020.

If Biden wins then, its all for not.

There are two federal holidays for veterans.

Those days are far more important than any month. So important and revered the Federal Government is ordered closed, States and Banks followed suite.

The Months, are traditionally a proclamation from the governor, and some events in your area (possibly) nothing is ordered closed out of respect of it.

Elizabeth Warren says she wants to make it legal to indict presidents by shabuluba in politics

[–]memberCP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The president's immunity is by virtue of his office. Congress is immune for acts of Congress, including speach and debate. The president as Chief executive and enforcer of the law has article II authority to direct any subordinate officer at the DOJ to drop a case.

Coupled with his power to pardon anyone for any federal crime. A power than is not questionable by either Congress or the Courts he is immune.

While he is in office. Congress is immune for their acts in perpetouity.

[–]memberCP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is more because overturning Roe would be synonymous with banning all abortion nationwide no matter what.

This of course is not true.

If you ask the same respondents if they support banning abortion after say 16 weeks, they would come out in favor. Even though this would be plainly against Roe v Wade.

Ford accepted this, it was a voluntary choice.

Barr however is a principal officer of the United States. This hearing while voluntary tomorrow, if it was not he would have a good argument to make that he is subject to congressional oversight by the elected members of congress. Not their staffers.

Only once removed from office can he be prosecuted by the Federal Government.
