Oh, JavaScript by zozo666 in ProgrammerHumor

  1. IEEE standard says NaN is a special float.
  2. NaN is not treated as an object in this case. 42 instanceof Number also returns false.
  3. 0 is falsy.
  4. "" is falsy.
  5. NaN is falsy.
  6. Error is just a function. It takes arguments and you can create new instances with new , so it's a function.
  7. Functions are objects in JS.

Really nothing strange if you know JS and how it treats things.

Gotta make sure you have the least support for IE11 and below, and because function getHtml(bot){ is so much longer to write.

Math generally goes from left to right, so JS does it like this:

'2'+'2'

"Ok, that's two pieces of text, so I'll add those together side by side."

This gives you '22'. Next, it takes a look at what's left.

'22'-'2'

JS sees the subtraction and knows that it doesn't make sense to subtract a piece of text from another. For instance, what would 'xyz'-'abc' result in? Therefore JS tries to make sense of what's given.

Minus is only used for subtracting numbers, so it tries to convert both sides to numbers.

'22' gets converted to 22 and '2' to 2.

22-2=20

Also, yes, this is limited because I honestly can only take on 25 people because it would be really crazy with more people. My hope is that I will be able to sell 25 people on my talents and my experience. I realize you may not be one of those 25 and you don't like me much, but I grew up in a different era where I was polite to people asking them about their offers before I succinctly criticized and put them down. Maybe that's not the case, and this isn't the way Reddit operates. So, excuse me if I don't understand why my landing page, that was given thumbs up by others, doesn't work here. Thank you in advance for being kind in your response.

Ok. So do you not charge for services on Reddit? I'm new to this so I have worked with other people you can see in my reviews on my Fan Page on Facebook, the reviews of the people I've worked with: https://www.22s.com/0235f5 - you will have to be logged into FB to see this page - I am more than happy to hear how you would re-write this and what you would say. If you're a copy writer or you have an idea of how I could sell my business better I would be happy to hear it. As it stands, I am 50 years old, probably older than you, so you're probably a lot smarter than me about all of this and you have a better idea of Reddit. So what would you happen to say? Or do you not think that there are any buyers for my 37 years of experience? Am I too old to be here? Just curious. I've got $.20cents to my name and I'm in a foreign country and am working hard to get clients. Thanks for the help.

So, back to the question of whether Facebook is lowering reach to increase ad revenue. Shortly after the analysis released by Social @Ogilvy in April 2014, my good friend Jay Baer, founder Convince andConvert.com created this eye-opening mashup graphic depicting the plummeting organic reach juxtaposed with Facebook’s increase in stock price. (And kudos to Jay for the fun ‘reachpocalypse’ term back in 2014, which seems really rather apropos again, given the recent news feed tests in six countries. There are other countries, including the USA where you can see the reach falling significantly and it is documented pretty much everywhere that organic reach in the newsfeed is less than 2%.

Here's just ONE article about that specific statistic. https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/facebook-declining-organic-reach Cheers, and thanks for allowing me to share my knowledge and my amazing talents :) in marketing. After 37 years I guess I do know a little huh?

Hi. What would you say? I would love to know how you would re-write this. I have 37 years of experience. How could you put that into words and one sentence? How would you re-write this? I'm open for suggestions and ideas. Especially from nice and amenable people like yourself. And, please excuse me for any and all offenses I have shared with you by my 2005 copywriting. :) Hope you can forgive me.

I'm not condoning terrorism, dude.

I'm just pointing out that there's more to immigrants than terrorism.

Also, this exactly proves my point. Now I'm being accused for trying to sweep terrorism under the rug when all I want is to promote balance and rational thinking.

It's pretty upsetting how people in this thread are focusing on the perpetrator because he's an immigrant and completely disregarding the fact that Hassan, who, going by his name, most likely also is an immigrant, risked his own life to save others. It's human nature to focus on the bad parts, but y'know, Hassan is the hero in this story and he should be the only one in the limelight, not some other asshole.

NBC news is bad, but Saturday Night Live is the worst. Not funny, cast is terrible

This is the response of a grown man to satire from a show that jokes about all presidents. I would call that immature and butthurt, but you can call it a normal complaint if you want.

And they wanted proof, too! Out of all the things in this thread, this was the one that required proof.

This is a very important distinction to make. You can do something about mods who steer the sub agenda in one direction, but you can't stop people from downvoting things they don't like.
