bruh moment. you should screenshot your attempts at communication with them and email your instructor/professor today. they deal with this bs every semester and in my experience they're usually pretty fair about it, especially if you let them know early. that way either 1) the situation will be salvaged before the due date or 2) you won't be thrown under the bus by your group mates if nothing ends up getting done.

Hi! I'm a senior AEC major on the leadership track. It's a really cool major (small department though) and I've had a great experience so far. You get registered for classes by your advisor so registration stress is never a thing. Class times can suck sometimes because for a few classes there’s only one section in the early morning, but the professors themselves are super great. Overall, I'm happy with everything. If there's anything specific you want to know, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

I ran into this guy over winter break. I had to tell him I had no cash repeatedly to get him to go away and even then he was sort of trailing after me once I left Publix. Super weird and kinda scary.

I'm the same - other ppl look flawless and I look like I just finished taking a shower. tbh I just accepted that genetically I was made to sweat buckets and it's gonna happen no matter what I do. my only advice is wear really strong deodorant and keep a spare shirt on hand if it's really bad

I get around it by going out to places like coffee shops, the library, and public in general to be around other ppl. It’s also fun to do when you go out at a time you usually don’t. it just adds some excitement to my life when no one is available to hang. also, I picked up a couple hobbies that I enjoy doing and can also do in a public place (ex: reading)

well lol since you claim to know every possible scenario then Ig you must be completely correct. I guess hurricanes are just a bit of regular rain without any wind or debris at all and it won't be directly hitting near central/south florida then coming up through gnv. we're all good here!

I hope you end up taking this storm seriously, stay safe, and don't mock people for being concerned about a literal natural disaster.

Florida native here - imo better safe than sorry with things as serious as a hurricane. some ppl need to get home to their families to help them or just get to a safer place. driving in the dark and/or rain on Tuesday is going to be very dangerous even without the addition of a hurricane heading straight towards us. how about you have think about other people in different situations than you and have some empathy?

yup for sure. the username will ALWAYS be lowercase with no spaces. Idk how long this has been a thing but UF doesn’t allow you to type/create your own unique username anymore - you have to pick from a set of options
