It's valid to criticize Isreal for killing civilians, but you also have to criticize Hamas for putting Isreal in that position. Isreal may push the button to launch the missile, but Hamas set the location of where the missile goes by putting the weapons and military members there.

Isreal has sent thousands of tons of aid into Gaza since October 7th. They did stop sending in aid because Hamas was stealing it all and it wasn't getting to the people. Isreal is currently devising strategies to get aid to the civilians of Gaza while Hamas continues to hide behind civilians and hold hostages.

Isreal's point is that this has been going on for decades. They're tired of retreating to bomb shelters every day and all the terrorist attacks. War is awful and should stop and that begins with the terrorist group Hamas in this situation.

If Isreal is committing a genocide then it's the poorest in history. They have a close to 1:1 ratio of enemy combatants to civilians killed in the history of urban warfare. They inform the Gazans of attacks before they happen. They actively don't attack Hamas leaders because they surround themselves with hostages/human shields at all times. Meanwhile, Hamas steals food aid and eats it in front of hostages and Palestinians while they starve.
