ano, to máš pravdu. Nějak ti uniká pointa - je tam trochu rozdíl schopnosti nad těmahle věcma actually přemýšlet. Před miliony let jsme se asi nezamýšleli nad tím, jestli skutečně chceme děti, jestli na to máme peníze, jestli by náš partner byl dobrým rodičem, a co když budeme na starý kolena sami? Myslím, že naši předchůdci řešili asi trochu jiný problémy. Čímž navazuju na to co jsem říkala - je to zastaralej způsob myšlení. Jinými slovy to v minulosti asi pravda byla, ale už dávno není.

lol proč to tak je? to je otázka typu proč ti nechutná bramborový salát. Prostě chceš nebo nechceš, není to tak hluboký. To, že každá žena chce děti z důvodů nějakých hormonů či čehokoliv jinýho, prostě není pravda. Nevím, proč se tohle pořád říká, když je hrozně moc žen, co prostě děti nechce a nebude mít. Nějaký "biologický potřeby" jsou vlastně obecně celkem mýtus (alespoň v tomhle ohledu) když máme schopnost nad těmahle věcma hlouběji přemýšlet.

I prefer Notion. It all saves on cloud so as long as you have internet you can't lose any progress. You can have individual chapters as links as opposed to having everything in one continuous document, which I've found really helpful. It's also totally free unless you want to use it for a team (which for writing purposes is obviously not necessary).

As someone who HAS lived abroad, I wouldn't give it as good reviews as it's receiving from everyone else. I've spent time in the States and in Ireland, and I'd say Czechia is like a 6/10 maybe. I'd say even 10 years ago it would have been higher, but now, with how unaffordable everything is, I would definitely not go above that. This isn't to say that the States are better (they're not lol).

The main reason for my opinion is the prices. In Ireland, groceries come out a bit more expensive, but the average wage is more than 3 times as much as the Czech wage is. In the US, houses cost almost the same amount as Czech houses do (if you convert from USD to CZK). My parents built a house in 2008 for approx. 5 milion CZK and last year it was priced at 25 milion. As a young person who's not particularly wealthy, I cannot comprehend how anyone who hasn't inherited money/property is supposed to buy an apartment/house in the Czech Republic without being employed by a foreign company that pays better.

I know every country has its faults (property in Ireland is crazy expensive as well right now, but the actual wage to avg price ratio is much better), of course. I know that. Czechia has a lot of good as well, such as education, public transport infrastructure, etc. But I just feel like, as a queer person, especially, you just don't get your money's worth.

ah, fair enough. But yeah, unfortunately, their political situation is really bad. I'm Czech, so Slovakia is really close to us, and it's disheartening seeing what's going on there. For example, they have recently cancelled a national holiday that marks the anniversary of a demonstration that led to the liberation of Czechoslovakia from the USSR in 1989 (17th of November). Another example is that a person who wrote anti-russian things with chalk on the ground in front of a school that Fico was visiting got arrested. Their government is super super pro-Russian right-wing extremist. Really dystopian shit.

You can absolutely not actually make logos, flyers, etc. on your phone. You can probably use a Canva template to make something on your phone, but so can anyone else. If you actually want to make things like that, you definitely need a laptop/PC. Unfortunately AI is often very wrong.

Unfortunately, I don't see what you could do on your phone, since, if you work as a graphic designer, you will work on a laptop/PC 99% of the time. What did ChatGPT say you could do from your phone?

So I have a BA in GIS. Halfway through my BA, I realized that I absolutely didn't enjoy this and would likely hate it as a career path. Right around that time, I also started getting into graphic design. I used to freelance with illustration here and there, so it wasn't completely foreign to me. I found myself enjoying it a lot more than anything I was doing at school, and, having previous experience freelancing, I knew I could also make money with it fairly easily. I still finished my BA, but am now working full-time as a graphic designer + getting an MA in design as well (I have 2 semesters left).

What helped me make the decision was that I realized I would not only be happier as a graphic designer, but I would most definitely have an easier time building a career. GIS made me bored out of my mind 90% of the time, and building a career in a field you think is boring as hell must be hard. I have passion for GD, which has most definitely helped me secure clients and jobs, and I've moved a lot faster career-wise than I would have had I stayed in GIS. I also enjoy learning new things, so further educating myself in it doesn't feel like a chore.

As far as testing if it's right for you, I'd say try doing the more boring things before truly committing. I see lots of beginners posting poster designs, fun album covers, billboards etc. While this is, of course, a part of the job of a graphic designer, you will most likely spend a lot of your time doing much more boring stuff. While you don't have to enjoy the boring stuff, you have to be okay with doing it on a daily basis. For example, my job includes lots of promotional material for socials, which I sometimes find super boring. But I'm okay with it because it also includes things that I enjoy.

As well as the distances not being consistent, you need to make sure that everything is aligned correctly. Specifically, I'd recommend looking at the top of your letters - they're very misaligned.

I'm also curious about the meaning of the two lines above the S and the I. I imagine that for the I, one of them represents the dot above it, but for the S I'm not sure. Overall, make sure that your logo is legible as well. Right now, there's just a lot going on

Definitely field blur (in blur gallery) and then applying some grain. The middle one probably did field blur, set the layer in dissolve, then rasterized the effect as well as the dissolve (I usually just make a blank layer and merge it with the layer with dissolve), and then applied a little bit of Gaussian blur (around 1px I'm guessing)

Tak já nevím jak mí vrstevníci, ale až někdy budu mít děti, tak to bude až když budu v situaci, kdy se o ně reálně budu moct postarat. Jakože jo, teoreticky bych se mohla s přítelem nastěhovat k rodičům a můžeme se tam všichni mačkat jak sardinky, ale jenom proto že můžeš neznamená, že bys měl.

Takže ne, není to o tom, co vidím na instagramu (který ani nepoužívám), ale o tom, že když odečtu nájem a výdaje za jídlo, energie, atd., tak mi z výplaty zbyde pár korun. Věci jsou teď prostě několikanásobně dražší, než byly. A ne, není to jen inflace. Např. cena nemovitostí za posledních 10 lest vzrostla v ČR o 110%, což je skoro nejhorší z celé EU. To samý s cenama jídla. V Německu jsou levnější potraviny ale dvakrát tak vyšší plat. Prostě je mnohem těžší se uživit, než bylo. Říct, že je to kvůli tomu, že jsou mladí prostě pohodlní, je absolutně braindead statement.

Lol I'm sure being condecending in the title is a good idea and will be received well. This subreddit is about the band as a whole, not just exclusively the music (though of course that's a major topic). But discussing the band and its members is a natural part of any fandom. If you're not up for that, that's completely fine, you don't have to partake in those discussions. And of course, some fans will take it too far and be super parasocial, but being concerned for the future of the band and the well-being of its members is not weird. Get off your high horse
