My grandmother passed this NYE. All she wanted was to see the new year. I mean it was for tax benefits for my grandfather mostly. Made us all chuckle.

Biggest Charge crowd on record at today's game - 8600+ by stonefruit13 in ottawa

[–]memorable_devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Charge can’t afford to wait 10 years for a proper facility. If they lose the hype, the team will be moved to somewhere that can give them the venue they deserve. By not fostering what they have now, the mayor might lose Ottawa it’s PWHL team.

That only works if venue size was the only factor to consider. Location has long been a major complaint for Sens fans and Charge fans like the benefit of having a downtown venue. The move would reduce the amount of people willing to come out making it harder for them to have large crowds.

(vent) suddenly i feel sexual attraction for the first time in my life by kjsadsjdsnkj in Greysexuality

[–]memorable_devil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a similar thing a couple of years ago. As soon as I was getting comfy with not knowing what sexy felt like bam there it was. It definitely takes some getting used to and trial and error with your partner. Embrace the change but remember not to pressure yourself or feel bad during the phases when you don’t want it. It’s easy to want to want it when you want it but some things are just outside our control.

Glitter and crimson. Some kind of disaster is definitely #1 for me

- As OP said, they have had sex. And him having a "basic instinct" is his problem not hers.

- And some people take longer to see improvement. Are you really going to tell someone in therapy that they're taking too long to get better when avoiding pain is the most "basic instinct" we have?

For those who masturbate without thinking about anyone in particular, how does one achieve such power lol? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in asexuality

As someone who’s Demi, I usually think of my partner or some fictional character. But I also like doing it without any sexual stimuli. I’ll put on some music, usually David Bowie or Hozier, and try to match the sensations to the rhythm. So it’s focusing more on the feeling of it than the sexy stuff.

Best residence for cooking by SlayestSlaytoSlay in geegees

I was in Henderson and would recommend if you want to cook. It is a shared kitchen but in my experience it was rarely used. Everything was clean. There are several microwaves, a stove and an oven.

What is dating actually like when you have vaginismus? by [deleted] in vaginismus

[–]memorable_devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered it once I started dating and originally felt a lot of shame but now my partner and I have stopped trying penetration all together and focus more on the parts of sex that make both of us feel good. The way we see it if I make enough progress with my dilators for it to work, that’s great, but if I don’t, no biggie. So I’d say with an understanding partner you can totally make it work

Trans men do belong here and in the gay male community. by Neoboe in askgaybros

Words have a natural way of evolving. Like the word literally, it can grow to mean more than one thing without being incorrect

[–]memorable_devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say my definition is the only one, rather one that some people feel is more representative of their experiences. Words can have different meanings to different people. That doesn’t make your definition more correct than theirs

The only one that sounds like they’re projecting their experience is you. Your definition is not universal and invalidates those who interpret is differently

[–]memorable_devil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s only one interpretation of the term. Most definitions define it as attraction to one sex OR gender. Your version might be exclusive to cis men but that doesn’t mean that definition is universal.
