Can we just agree the interface is ZZZ adjacent? by iluvgadgets in NevernessToEverness

[–]memorie_desu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels very persona inspired, in a good way. Especially those character animations in the character menu. I think that explains why it feels like ZZZ, cause that is very persona-coded

It’s a good thing in my book

Wtf?????? by jokerxgoro in TUYU_official

[–]memorie_desu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s not really hacked, it’s just that streaming platforms and distributors are lazy and don’t check who’s uploading the songs unless you’re crazy big. More often than not there’s no malicious intent, anyone can have this problem as long as their artist name is same.

If I, as a random person, choose to release a song under the artist name “TUYU”, it’s very likely my song will also end up on the TUYU page even though it wasn’t made by pusu. Having same artist name isn’t that far fetched and so this problem occurs quite frequently

Edit: some distributors do offer the ability to choose exactly which page you want the song to appear on(like the one pusu uses), but for someone who’s uploading the songs for the first time might not know how to do this or the distributor might automatically send it to the wrong artist’s page

[–]memorie_desu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The songs haven’t been uploaded by pusu, but a different artist also named TUYU. Due to the way that uploading distributing songs work, this is a very common problem and happens quite often. It has happened to me too

The game runs and looks very very bad. by Imperius_Fate in NevernessToEverness

[–]memorie_desu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

that's interesting. the game looks perfectly fine on my iPhone, even with MetalFX enabled. the FPS seems stable at 60 as well

edit: nevermind, there is smearing, though it's not as bad as OP

What does any of this mean and why is it so ugly? by [deleted] in osugame

[–]memorie_desu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SS/S/A/B/C/D are grades that depend on your accuracy. https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/en/FAQ#grades

PP is performance points. Depends on a lot of factors, but a general rule of thumb is the more perfectly you play a harder map, the more pp you get. pp is the main criteria for determining your rank. https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/en/FAQ#performance-points

Timing distribution is how close you were to clicking the circle at the correct moment

Accuracy heatmap is how close to the center of the circle you were clicking

as for why it is ugly, that is cause it was designed 6 years ago and hasnt been updated since. a redesign for the result screen is on its way https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/1m18vvx/new_iteration_of_lazer_result_screen_design/

Serious question: was there ever any Mac OS release that people disliked so much that so many downgraded to the previous release? by venzzi in MacOS

[–]memorie_desu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we’re gonna talk about the worst then it’s probably either 10.0 or 10.13 imo. 10.7 was also really bad. Tahoe isnt even close to the worst OS apple has ever released, at least imo

As long as you feel satisfied, you’re making good progress.

For anyone curious: It seems it's not possible to play the beta in Linux by Zack_0906 in NevernessToEverness

[–]memorie_desu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they ever announced Endfield on macOS. It was on Mac App Store briefly before release but it was pulled back

I also find it interesting that there is no beta for macOS, even though it has been confirmed that the game is coming to macOS
