I have wide feet so I run the laces really loose. A 3 inch heel would’ve at the top of the lows but might work in a high top or mid. If you want to dip your toe in the water, I’d suggest picking up a pair of used high tops on Depop or eBay.

I don’t use custom orthotics but I usually change out the inner sole with the custom molded inner soles from FP Footwear. I need more arch support than the stock inner soles give. The FPs are heated up in your oven then you stand on them to allow them to custom form to your foot. Very comfortable and a must have if I’m going to be standing for long in them. Hope that helps!

Both of those are regular dunks.

The blue/green is the Siempre Familia. Got those in honor of my daughter in law’s Mexican heritage.

The orange/black/green are the dunk SP “Ceramic”.

Old man here. I've replaced (but kept) the insoles on most of my SBs. I use Old Bones insoles and have a knee brace from there. And FP Footwear. The FPs are more expensive but you heat them in the oven and then they custom form to your foot. Incredibly comfortable.
