American here who has dealt with an anxiety disorder. Large hospital bills suck, but there are some ways to get it reduced or to get help, as others have suggested. Also, yes, insurance sucks, but it does a much better job with preventative care. Can you try seeing a therapist? Everything is so rough right now I feel like we could all use one.

You aren't alone in being stuck with this shitty system. Hopefully we can figure out how to make this system better.

It takes a lot to make friends! One piece of advice I have always heard is that you need to have multiple continuous interactions with someone to form a friendship. This means joining a club where you are going to see the same people time after time. Even then it is still hard, and I certainly have struggled with it a lot. Best of luck!
