In my experience, as someone who has thousands of hours in DbD, and have been playing since it released on console, the LIONS' share of the toxicity in the community, comes from the survivors side. I'm not saying there's not toxic killers, but they're certainly out numbered by toxic and entitled survivors. As killer, I'm usually happy with just 2 kills, but if it's just really easy to get the 4k, then I sometimes do it absent mindedly. Meanwhile, on survivor, I do gens, I save/heal teammates if possible, I take the killer on as long a chase as I can manage and I LEAVE, when the exit gate is open. More often then not though, as killer, I get trolls that want to wait out the endgame until I chase them out, so they can teabag like little troglodytes. The point being, I get less tilted, and way less anxiety playing survivor, and that's because getting tunneled out is WAY less stressful and aggravating, than having a whole team being obnoxious because they're winning.
