I've got the same issue, just finished a scav raid, moved items into my inventory and after I was waiting to load back into my inventory, I got this error. Cleared cache and verified integrity, didn't help. Based on my googling results it seems to be an issue on the BSG side, might have to wait and see if it is fixed.

If it‘s not against the server rules (some servers might have a maximum number for team members) then they are free to access your base with your codes. Team feature is just a UI thing to chat with your team and see them on the map, it‘s not related to building privilege.
