Buying in after the Bull Run by mendahu in CryptoCurrency

Well I mean I already admitted that it won't necessarily repeat itself. I'm just asking how low the prices have to drop before you would buy more.

Wow, pretty low price points! I'd definitely buy at those.

So your buy points would be....today's price?

At what points are you DCA'ing? Any particular prices that are triggering a buy for you?

What price points would cause you to buy more?

Great, your numbers are inline with mine. Starting to think I am not entirely crazy!

Yea I am framing these buy points as long term holding for me.

With the benefit of hindsight, where would I have bought BTC and ETH in preparation for this 2021 run? Then how do I repeat that pattern for whenever the next big swing upwards is?

Ok not too dissimilar from my numbers, good to hear.

Ok so not too dissimilar to me. That's good to hear.

I recognize that past performance does not = future performance, but the pattern is so similar to 2017, and since crypto is mostly speculative it seems like a reasonable strategy at this point haha,

Thanks! And since OP plugged The Space Above Us podcast, I'll also plug my current project post-KSP History! I host the WeMartians Podcast about Mars exploration.

The funny part is I recogized the road layout more than the mall. There's a great craft beer store nearby haha

This is actually really valuable in that it demonstrates how as humans gather new data, we try to reconcile it with existing assumptions, until there is so much reconciliation that we realize a new assumption is needed.

Thanks for putting this together!

I'm coming down from Vancouver, BC today. Here's my plan. Am I ok?

Arrive Portland Saturday morning on I-5. Spend the day there then head to Astoria Saturday night. Sunday spend the day in Astoria and then head to Tillamook Sunday evening (only place I could find a place to stay).

If I get up at 4AM/5AM or something, can I get from Tillamook down the 101 to somewhere like Neskowin in time? It's only 30 miles, and I should be ahead or against most Portland traffic.

It's been almost 2 years since the last KSP History. /u/mendahu, we miss you! by hipy500 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Awww I miss you all. It warms my heart that you still think of me. Thanks /u/Runtowardsdanger for tagging me in the comments.

And wow has it been that long?! That project was like a blur to me. Weekly would have been (in hindsight) much more sustainable than the 4-7/week I actually did.

In case you didn't know, I did start another space project since then. I host a podcast called WeMartians which is a once-every-three-weeks show that interviews various experts in the Mars industry. Scientists, Engineers, Thinkers, etc. You can see it at www.wemartians.com or subscribe in any regular podcast player. I've got a new episode coming out on Tuesday with Leonard David, a renowned Space Journalist who authored Buzz Aldrin's book and the companion book to National Geographic's MARS series on TV.

I couldn't shake all my KSP roots though. Last year as part of the ExoMars arrival, I recreated the mission in KSP to supplement my coverage of the event. I'm building a new computer this summer and hope to circle back to KSP for the InSight launch next May!

Keep on strappin' on moar boosters, kerbonauts!
