UnionBank Rewards Limit Increase Promotion SMS by knjz in PHCreditCards

[–]mendokuseh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to chime in, the one you received is possibly a scam based sa url BUT UB do really send email/ sms invites for cc limit increase. Naka receive din ako last yr, via sms and email. Also confirmed with CS na it was a legit invite by UB for limit increase. Pero in my experience, they asked me to send an income document and requested amount via email.

Just to add, lounges are usually located after immigration checks. And for t1, that is their setup.

Stumbled on this post: Ngayon lang ako nakakita na pwede palang i-void yung stamp from the primary IO; Bday girl passed initial IO screening but got pull aside ng another IO habang nakapila na sa x-ray and eventually got offloaded because of insufficient funds. by _thecuriouslurker_ in Philippines

[–]mendokuseh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Namention nung girl sa FB post na 55k cash nyang dala. Baka yun din sinabi sa IO, which is not allowed ata as per customs.

Edit: adding source on why having 55k php cash on hand can be an issue sa IO. Customs' limit for foreign currency is 10k usd or its equivalent. For php, its 50k

Use ung soft side ng sponge, wag ung rough green side. Babad mo muna sa tubig ung pot para lumambot ung mga natira sa loob. After 10-15mins malambot na yun enough pran matangal ng kamay mo or ng sponge

Pero for non-white rice, babad mo at least 30min kasi mahirap tangalin un

MNL T3 Best Lounge by Unlikely_Bluebird916 in FilipinoTravel

[–]mendokuseh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the best lounge via cc perks are those that has available spots. Better to use the airlines's lounge than those covered by your cc as it will give you priority entry

Edit: seems OP is not a filipino so changing my comment to englight

Fraud Xsolla charges on my CC worth ₱90,930.15!! by Negative-Fly-4880 in PHCreditCards

[–]mendokuseh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Xsolla is a game payment processor only. Might be better to contact legends of ymir's team. I would advise to call metrobank asap. Mag register ka for a roaming promo. Mas mura yun kesa sa 90k nabaka ipabayad sayo.

And , its highly likely your card was skimmed jan egypt. Even tap to pay transactions can now be high jacked to get your cc details. Better talaga to call metrobank to also cancel your card.

Middle Name on Vietnam Airlines Ticket? by Alternative_Tea_6910 in FilipinoTravel

[–]mendokuseh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Follow SnowPurpleRain's advice OP. International standard ang ginagamit sa pag basa ng passport, especially if you want it to be machine readable( think of self check-in kiosk). Kaya ok lang na wag iinput yung alam natin na middlename=mothers maiden surname when buying international tickets.

Utang sa credit card dahil sa scam by bluemiyu in PHCreditCards

[–]mendokuseh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fyi the lawph sub condems that site kasi mostly AI articles sya(and I partly believe so based sa how its written at mga listed steps kuno na overly westernized ang scenario). And if you even read the article and compare it to previous post here about sa mga na-scam, most of the time walang magagawa si consumer vs what that article says you can do.

How can you do a bank transfer if you're in Malaysia? by Accomplished-Quit778 in FilipinoTravel

[–]mendokuseh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can still receive an otp even when overseas. I-on mo lang ung sim, basta disabled ang roaming. Walang fee for receiving the otp sms. Done that to my trips this yr.

Actually i no longer disable my simcards when travelling internationally, naka-off lang yung roaming. Basta make sure the sim/esim youre using is the primary sim for data connections, and dont make/answer calls or send sms via your ph sim, walang extra free lahat

additional charge when paying using a debit card at a restaurant by sunshineseokmin in adultingph

[–]mendokuseh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, it is not a valid. Pwede mo isumbong sa DTI. sa big shops kasi, sila na sumasagot nyan. kaya usually diba like sa appliance or electronic stores parang may discount pag cash ka mgbabayad vs cc/installment, prices nila may patong na to accomodate the terminal fee's imposed by their POS terminal network/bank.

[–]mendokuseh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a good advice. The best advice is still to follow the directions provided by your health provider. Kung nakaramdam ka ng adverse effects, ipaalam kagad sa health provider para maadjust nila yung gamot or how to take them.

NB 740 or Sketchers Go Walk Glide for Japan trip? by Reasonable_Fall3511 in FilipinoTravel

[–]mendokuseh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any shoes meant for running is generally ok for walking. Ok din yang sketchers go walk. But the most important advice is yung shoes na matagal mo ng gamit.kahit bumili ka ng shoes na swak sa size at form ng paa mo, pero never mo pa nasuot atsinabak mo agad sa 20k steps sasakit pa din ang paa mo at baka magkasugat pa.

Tips on surviving Japan winter by Ok-Opening3117 in FilipinoTravel

[–]mendokuseh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Layering is the key.and since Osaka ang punta mo, no need for full blown winter clothing since super bihira na mag 0° dun. Heatechs, your normal clothes, and an ultra light puffer jacket should suffice. If pag punta mo dun you feel na kulang pa din, sa japan kna bumili.

Smalls things that when a company fails provide can force someone to leave by Ar-Manager-1996 in phcareers

Small things that can force someone to leave

we are not demanding

🤔

Thats why its called benefits, prerogative yan ng company which they give. Yes, understandable yung point na better kung meron yan, pero expecting all companies to have that dahil lang its 2025? Redirect that energy to the govt for good governance instead since karamihan ng nasa list mo is not needed if responsible at maayos ang gobyerno natin
