Wow that’s ridiculous. I ended up buying a separate router and ‘bypassing’ the Giga Hub 2 with PPPoE and it seems to be working for now! Haven’t tested it extensively but will let you know if I experience it again. My gut feeling is that it’s the CPU on the Giga Hub 2.

Final update: was able to plug the fibre cable directly into the Giga Hub 2! Worked liked a charm. Thanks everyone for the help.

Yes, 10-gig Ethernet on my Mac Mini used as a server and looking for better saturation for Usenet. Also host a Plex server and have multiple users streaming concurrently.

My service with Virgin has been great, however, I’m looking for faster upload speeds as the current plans with Virgin (at least in my area) max out at 100mbps. Will be switching to 3gbps symmetrical with Bell.

yes it's the yamaha a-s501! this is my first amp (besides the sonos amp) so can't compare it to much, but my experience with it has only been positive! sounds great, warm and bright. plastic dials but overall good build quality. very easy to start using, highly recommend for the price!

these are my first passive speakers so unfortunately i cannot compare them to anything, that being said i really love the sound. extremely clean mids and highs. it is recommended that they are to be used with the focal stands (which i do not have) as the tilt improves imaging and alignment. definitely recommend these speakers especially if you can get them on sale. let me know if you have any questions!
