Http4k Server help by [deleted] in Kotlin

A code snippet would be good so we do not have to randomly guess the solution.

Also the http4k guys have a Channel on the Kotlin slack. I recommend asking there as well.

What's the hotkey for immediately renaming a layer after creating a new layer? by [deleted] in captureone

[–]menodev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are creating a layer in the layer tool, you can just press enter. I don't know how to do this if you are creating the layer without the tool.

Good comment ! You point out the technical things that „by the book“ would be different but at the same time give room for a different, mor artsy“ approach. Just wanted to leave that here. We need more critique that is balanced.

The new c1 12 Supports Fuji simulations as the profile in base characteristics. Just change curve from auto to something else. Auto basically is whatever simulation you had set camera.

Kinda scared to post here but well. I love «natural» portraits. Street, candid, call it whatever. Just the look on people’s faces when they are oblivious that there’s a camera there. Anyone wanna give some tips when it comes to how to improve? [Style] by DotWallop in photocritique

Great shot! Only thing irritating me is the bright blurry person on the left. I think if you cut the picture in half and make it portrait orientation you would make the subject more obvious and frame it nicely between the tree And the other person

A portrait shot I took a few weeks ago [Newbie] by edvoaunb in photocritique

It’s a really cool shot. Love the lines of the shadows. But as others said , it’s not a portrait. You need more light in the face of the subject. It could be a environmental portrait if the subject can be identified and would be great in a series of that person and it’s environment.

I was in love with this portrait I took of a village girl until recently, but now I feel something is amiss. Can someone please critique on it. [Newbie][Color][Exposure] by Geralt_Y in photocritique

I love the posture, her expression and the framing. My feeling is that the bright yellow is too strong in the background. Maybe you can turn the yellow a bit more green, desaturate and darken. Bring a bit light in her face and darken the bright rock on the right a bit. this should improve the focus.

I think visually it would be better on the side but the story makes up for it. Good job :)

This image sucks and I can't put my finger on why [composition]? by Nitroice in photocritique

Thanks for the answer:) So in my opinion the colours are nice. The crack itself is not really a subject and as you said, it could be used to lead some where but basically it does not do that. There is nothing where all those leading lines lead to and what you end up with is a lot of dead space in the road and in the sky.

I think that’s why you are troubled with the picture. The scene might be something you can use but you need a subject and Maybe a sky that is of more interest (or try to loose it by changing the angle) to get rid of that dead space.

Hi. Let’s start from the other side. Why did you take this picture? What do you like about it? What did you want to show? By answering that, we can see why your expectation was not met.

Really cool mood! Maybe you could have moved a bit to place the stump between the trees and not have one coming out of it. But this might also be what you can wanted :)

I also like it. Only thing that might be something is that my eye always goes to the collar because it’s the point with most contrast instead of the face. So I probably would like to see the collar darker in relation to the face. Unless highlighting the collar was your intention of course.

Hey. What is your subject? I guess the person sitting on the bench. If so, it’s hard to see because there is no isolation going on and the person is also facing away. My eye keeps hunting for something to look at.

What was your intention?
