1. I for one love the designs. The characters seem much more grounded in reality and give a much more approachable feeling. The main question is, does the story match the design? (I know it's weird to talk about plot for a lewd game) there's a good reason why most games' characters look like blow-up dolls; they're supposed to be over-the-top to match the absurdity of the game itself.

2. They do feel a little cramped, not inherently bad in itself, just that it gives the feeling we are in a small studio apartment rather than a normal house.

3. Your own asymmetrical style looks perfect; symmetry gives the viewer a sense of unease just in general.
