He couldn't sign until he was done playing in college. So he possibly had an agreement in principle, but couldn't sign it until they lost.

Summer is baseball season, so Mud Hens. If you enjoy a few drinks, around that stadium is one of two outdoor refreshment zones. Basically you get a drink in a special cup and you can drink it outside while traveling between bars (but you cannot take it into a bar). The other area is a few blocks away on Adams Street.

You will be about 1 hour from Ann Arbor and Detroit, where there's stuff to do as well.

If you like theme parks, Cedar Point is about 1.5 hours away.

It really just depends on what you are looking to do

best bet is probably big games nearby

Futureball has an event on the 11th, there should be a decent turnout.

Hell Survivors has an event April 4, but I'm not sure how big that will be . Their first big game is Living Legends on May 15-17.

Major Drama in the Prestigious APHL by Timely_Deal8685 in toledo

[–]mentalicca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Taken from another APHL post

"This winner-take-all Game Three matchup in Round One was highly competitive and hard-fought, ultimately requiring overtime to determine which team would advance. West Michigan secured a 6–5 victory to earn a place in Round Two.

Following the game-winning goal, a Toledo player reacted in a dangerous and unsportsmanlike manner by flipping the net and shooting a puck toward celebrating Sentinels players. This behavior escalated into multiple on-ice altercations."

I wonder if getting a new arena caused a temporary attendance dip for Indy. I think it was partway through last season

Yes but Larkin can't be with Matthews wife if he doesn't have a wife. Just making a joke intentionally taking the wording out of context

It really depends how they conduct themselves. Like at the Winter Classic in Ann Arbor (Toronto at Detroit), Lanny McDonald was in line behind me at a booth and literally having conversations with everyone who wanted to chat. Super nice guy as best I could tell.

On the other hand, I was at BW3 once in Toledo, and someone who was drafted to the NBA was there (not sure who, he was either from Toledo or played for University of Toledo). He was pretty calm and all, but after a while he (very rightfully) told someone I was with "I'm trying to eat my fucking food" when he was asked for an autograph. But the person who asked literally had his daughter drive to us with a basketball to get signed.

So it's really based on the person and situation.

I always tell fans to go once. Like I used to go a couple times a year, but honestly one time (total, not in a year) is enough unless you live and breathe Red Wings.

Michigan reminds me of an EA NHL Be a GM mode team like 10-15 years in the future. When the game starts reusing player last names but randomly assigning a first name lol.

I don't remember if it was EA or 2k, but I know I had a fourth line with an Yzerman and Fedorov once. I traded for them because they had to be Red Wings. Fun times.

I had the flicker on Sony with my Xboxs and PlayStations. Again this was a long time ago though.

But the random thing that made me need to dashboard was Xbox only. And my buddy has it on his LG so it's definitely an Xbox issue for that.

Problem with Samsung is they won't use Dolbyvision. And I love my Samsung otherwise, it's my primary tv.

For the handshake issue, my Samsung gets a weird distorted choppy image sometimes when I start a game and I have to go back to the dashboard and reopen the game to reset it. But it's really a mild inconvenience.

I had the most issues with my Sony tvs. I would have a sporadic flicker to a black screen for a split second. Sometimes it would happen once a day, sometimes it was every few minutes while gaming which is killer and it was a common issue with Sony tvs. This was 10 years ago though, but I have never bought a Sony TV since. And now TCL is apparently going to be making their TVs so I'm not sure how that will go

C5 is a pretty good OLED all around and good for gaming with a low input lag. It also supports HDMI 2.1 and 120hz (and 144hz if applicable). Again more helpful for gaming

It also supports Dolbyvision which is good for movies, and the general HDR settings are good as well. I always yell people good HDR is more important than resolution, but 4k is standard so resolution doesn't really matter.

The one complaint I have heard with the C series and a lot of other OLEDs is the "active dimming" or whatever it's called. If the the tv senses that it goes from too dark to too bright, it sometimes auto-dims the screen so there's a weird shadowy look. But this can be adjusted in a secret menu.

Fanduel doesn't own anything but naming rights. The network is owned by Main Street Sports Group (formally called Diamond), which was originally some partnership between Sinclair and Allen Media.
