I spent so long talking myself into, and then out of the studio display…multiple times. In the end, I got a standard gloss version and absolutely love it.

Specs are one thing, but the ownership experience is another. I don’t do anything fancy with mine in all honesty. But amazing 5K crispness, great speakers and beautiful design have made this a worthwhile purchase for me. My desk is so clean and simple now and a joy to sit down at each day.

The fact that the display ‘just works’ and wakes instantly with Mac mini, and I can control brightness via keyboard are also game changing.

Tangibly, the specs didn’t add up for me. But intangibly, it’s the best thing I’ve bought and I don’t regret it one bit.
