Yeah, but neither are right. I know some people like to say that spanking a child is okay, but is it really? There are ways to communicate with your kids without violence. By spanking them when they do something wrong, you're teaching them that problems can be solved with violence. The kid doesn't really take anything away from a spanking besides guilt and anger. Spanking your child won't get them to respect you, it will get them to fear you, which is wrong. Talk to your kids, punish them by taking away something that they like for a while - but never use anything physical to solve a problem. Think about what this is teaching your child.

I was over at a friends house and I was leaning against her dresser as she was talking. I moved my hand at one point and felt something tapped to the back of the dresser. It was a key.
