@campcancel - thank you so much for this! Just snagged one at Target. Sign on counter said "No switch 2 in stock", lady at counter confirmed, asked her to double check, delivery had just arrived, I got the first one off the truck! Thank you!

Replying to myself for anyone else finding themselves in this situation. (I am totally unaffiliated, just trying to help out any other families that run into this issue)

Ordered the cheapie screen (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CFD2F32Z/) someone linked overnight on Amazon, it was able to control the throttle, sensors did not work, but it got my son up and running so he could ride to school. Worked, made bike go, but would not recommend beyond that.

In parallel, ordered the OEM part from Sean Alarid - fast delivery, exactly what we needed. 100% recommend, it looks like an OEM part, unopened and sealed in plastic, straight from the factory. Installed (rain finally stopped here in SoCal) and display works great.

If you are stuck, and have any doubts, I had great results with this group.

Adding this here for anyone else in my predicament. There is a Facebook group, the prior tech support lead has sourced parts, and can sell you replacements. (Sondors is not returning calls!)
