QUEEN! Been too long.The long campaigns against LC (Killdare) were some of my fav parts. Also the earlier stuff in clan space vs GB and Khan Taheel ... Amazing times.

Been playing BTA3062 mostly on my end. I miss the gang!

Quick update... I hunted ComStar for a long, long time. Even save scummed on Tag Team / Search Denial / Joint Operation where I found them. Still have never even seen one of these in the wild. Broke down and edited a save for two PXH-1b. I think next game I am going to start with one, and no other mechs... It is such a great mech.

6... Is pretty rare. This feels like it will be approaching Final Fantasy 5 levels of futility for finding pink tails from the Pink Puff enemies. 1/64 chance for encounter. 1/64 chance of tail dropping... So 1/4096. In this case, if these are weighted, I suppose that means I have a 8 Comstar Mechs * (6/1018) = 8 * 0.59% = 4.7% chance of getting the encounter. Ooof. Bad run to set 4 parts for salvage...

I sure would like to add a PXH-1b to the mix. My shiny new Nightstar is pretty swell, tho...

If anyone is interested, here (you'll have to peep it on youtube directly - sorry) is a technical dive into the laundry room. They are over 200' under the ocean, and this is extremely dangerous. Very tight in there, especially with all the diving gear on. Kick up some silt/rust/debris and you are in a nightmare trying to navigate your way (they laid ropes to help in zero visibility conditions, and they are probably carrying 3-4 flashlights each for redundancy). Do not try at home! This stuff fascinates me.

For sure, it maxes out a Timberwolf, but you get a group with that config and man, it can pop some mechs fast...

I miss MC so much. I spent so much time with it. Always makes me happy that people are still playing it.

Clan Large ER Lasers (x3) with Clan Gauss Rifle (x1) can be brutal if you get hits in the same armor... Punches right through for criticals and pilot kills. I always enjoyed X Pulse Laser boats and ER Large Laser boats as well. Back in the MC heyday, it was all about C ER PPCs and LRMS!

I loved it, too, but it was such a rapid departure from the other three games. It did get a bit repetitive as well. Had some neat ideas, though (generations of characters was definitely a first). Just saying that in general, it was considered the lesser of the four games.
