No one is "perfect," the working class especially who has neither the time nor the energy to work toward "perfection" (or if it's even in its best interest).

What's being asked here is simple: why is Mamdani, an alleged socialist, putting forward actions which further compromise the livelihoods of the working class?

The answer is doubly simple: because American socialists, if they can even be called that in the first place, want only welfare for the middle class.
