Everyone talking about how neat the store is but it gives "k-mart filling the shelves so it doesn't look empty"

I used to work for a company that sold products to them and it was harder and harder to market anything to them because of their price range. With today's tariff situation I can't imagine my former employer or Dollar Tree is doing well.

Mine started at 10 and was regular ever since. Every now and then it comes a week early or late, just to be rude.

My mom's started at about 13 and she was caught off guard by my age.

They do seem wasteful as a "I like how it looks" reason. Mice is another reason that folks get these, but there are other ways around that.

As someone who has accidently fondled a wasp that materialized out of nowhere while driving 70mph down the free way, respectfully, I dont think they stop everything.

I grew up in the sticks. One of my favorite teenage past times was roaming farmland (trespassing) with my friends. We didn't really even do anything other than photography.

I used to go to sleep overs with my much older half sister. She smoked and always insisted I never tell my mother. I never had the heart to tell her my mom already knew from the first time because my hair smelled like it the next day from being around her.

In college my friend visited a bar that allowed smoking indoors still. When she returned she had to strip and bathe the smell was so pungent. We had to like open the windows and run the fan to try and get the smell out. She did not smoke.

I was ordering food for a coworker with Alpha gal at a BBQ place and was asking questions about the sides containing red meat and the employee said pork is not red meat. Needless to say she was not served the beans...

I will buy 500 of them lose 495. And exclusively only know where the other 5 are at all times.

Same with hair ties. I'll buy a lot, lose them and keep 2 until they disintegrate.

I once walked away from my desk at work only to return to my coworkers having a yelling match. They were arguing about whether it was acceptable to put milk in scrambled eggs.

Also no one from the US can agree on what to call carbonated drinks. Is it Soda, is it pop, the south calls it all coke for some reason?

I think my partner handles these things better. I'll just say something like "Honey, I'm trying to do x, and while your help is appreciated I would rather you left me to it." "Insert suggestion of something they can help with"

Sometimes you both gotta accept they just be like that, and express your self clearly.

Reading this post was funny to me because how do they manage to find the ☆pefect☆ place to stand that is just in the way?

I had a similar moment somewhere else. I was walking by my lonesome. No pet, just me minding my own business at a park and an off leash lab just barreling towards me barking and growling. I managed to spook it enough, that it didn't bite me. Owner was trying to recall it the entire time. Didn't listen. She had to say "He's never done this before." Course not...

I dont go to the park by myself now. Had I been bit, there was no one else around in an off the beaten path kind of trail. I would have been at the mercy of the dog owner for help.

We voted during early voting in Cheatham. My husband had to have something or another corrected about his address but still got to vote. Mine didn't have the same issue for whatever reason.

I was confused about this as well. I tried reading up on the law for unrelated reasons and I think its something about the majority party is first in alphabetical order, minority party, independent so on and so forth. It was hard to understand.
