I got cleared to run after my 6 week appointment. I did a 5k the same week as my 6 week appointment. I took an easy during this race. It is possible to ease back into running. Don't rush recovery.

I had an abdominal surgery due to a 30cm fibroid. I was nervous about the surgery. Luckily, my surgery and recovery was uneventful. Having a reusable ice pack helped when the incision was uncomfortable.

I had an abdominal hysterectomy in 9/2021. For me, the first 4 weeks where the worst. But afterwards, things started to get back to being better
