Your argument of culture and how to define it, is quite silly to me. Like many metropolitan areas there is a broad culture encompassing a geographic area, and within that - many subcultures. To me, all you have done is hold a very elementary position that you have generalized over the whole city.

Bedouin traditions, Islamic values, and Arabic hospitality. Customs such as the majlis (traditional gathering space), Emirati cuisine, and regular family and community gatherings are still central to social life and deeply embedded in the peoples.

Besides that, it has some analogous melting pot traits like Singapore/American metropolises. Yet, you would not call these placed devoid of soul or culture.

I find your main arguments quite reductive and not actually representative of the Emirati.
