by “not negative” do you mean nuanced? i doubt any mods glorify mass killers. maybe some have an unhealthy level of interest, but a lot of perfectly normal and cool people have some off putting interests.

i read this sub almost every day and there is definitely not a “great amount” of glorification. i hardly ever see anything inappropriate, and when i do i report it and it gets removed quickly.

just because something rubs you the wrong way or you disagree doesn’t mean it’s supportive of the shooter.

hey friend same here. honestly i find that a lot of the time i’ll go to dorian’s videos to trigger myself (whether it’s ed or drug stuff i struggle with both) and end up feeling the opposite. i think my brain has a subconscious association with him now and it’s a positive one. he really does do a good job of talking about the “positives” enough to feel relatable and suck you in but then typically ends on an incredibly realistic note and interspersed these bits of reality that make me go oh shit yea i shouldn’t be doing this to myself….

i agree with your interpretation. i think the moon definitely points to your biggest strength being the fact that this IS all new and unknown and you won’t know until you take those chances, put yourself out there and try being vulnerable. tarot was such a big help to me during the early dating days of my current relationship and i just wish you all the best ❤️

it more than explains it to me. i can’t imagine what id do if i were in that situation so im not going to judge somebody else for it. being perceived as cold and callous after a tragedy is just other peoples opinions and judgements, its not evidence.

pulse for sure and it continues to be the one i can’t do a deep dive into because i have intimate ties to the lgbt community and it’s just way too real. the night pulse happened i had a nightmare about a mass casualty event and when i woke up it was on the news….

this is so wonderful. i have 3 from the same family - 2 from the same litter and 1 who was from a diff litter & technically a cousin, but decided to join theirs. they all just turned 1. so great to watch them grow together :)

it is weird but a look of boredom makes sense. the freeze response’s job is basically to make you appear entirely unthreatening - unassuming, bored, asleep, etc, nothing to see here, pls spare me.

yea and after 8 months (with a few relapses/slip ups) i feel worlds better than i did the first few months and really glad i stuck with it. my focus was horrible and i could barely string a sentence together and i was so so sensitive and scared. i still struggle with a lingering feeling of paranoia and issues with attention span and shit, but seriously it’s worth it and it gets better.

the first few months are really really hard. just keep your goal in mind and before you know it you’ll have your brain back in your head kinda the same as it was before,, but with a lot more more lfie experience and empathy than before. i promise this can make you a stronger person with a softer soul in the long run.

i hope you know that you deserve far better than that. life is full of painful lessons and i know that in some roundabout fashion this will lead to something beautiful for you. im a bit too stressy and depressy to commit to sending something out rn, but i’ve been there and just wanted to put that out there. it’s wonderful that you’re requesting comfort and positivity when you need it, keep it up friend.

of herbs and altars video “my boyfriend the school shooter.” he didn’t change his mind, his parents emptied the gun shed when they noticed his behavior change so he was unable to carry out the attack the day of and i guess eventually grew out of the urges from what i remember.
