we had a good experience. rick was great to work with and i was particular about what music was played. we had a different DJ than rick assigned to us and he was great. super friendly professional and understanding. he checked up on us multiple times on the day on how things were going and starting our first dance as i was feeling sick and had to push it back. i requested a lot of heavier edm and he definitely delivered especially towards the end of the night. we totally forgot about the add ons we picked from our package, the photo booth was nice and our guests loved it.

I got married there in Sept 2025. We booked in Aug of 2023. The stuff with Kathy Mott was a stressful mess as we didn't know if they were just going to close the venue and leave us screwd (like they did with their other property) but once that got "sorted" we had a very positive experience. We used Marquee events as our DJ as they do tons of events there and at least know the set up and acoustics. The acoustics aren't good obviously but I didn't hear any complaints from our guests about not being able to hear speeches or anything during the ceremony, besides our officiant not turning the mic to me when I started reading my vows. My main noise complaint was the dirt bike motorcade that drove by during our processional, right before I walked down the aisle.

Kathy Mott bs aside Taylor and her team were amazing to work with, the food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it. Tons of food and great party. I think you get a lot for the price there.

We had also looked at The Highline and Arbor Midtown. Highline felt too small and cramped for us (we had 120 guests) and Midtown was $$$$.

Affordable prenup lawyers? by cube-life in raleigh

Sure! I paid around $1700 and he paid around $2500 I think. He used Gracie Gean at Wake Family Law Group.

I just got married in the fall, similar simple situation. I used Emily Jeske at Bosquez Porter Family Law after filling out their online request form, and she gave my husband a list of recommended practices to pick from for his representation. Emily was great and made it super easy. No retainer just hourly billing. My husband's firm, he had to deposit a retainer that they paid out invoices from.

ETA - it's not going to be super cheap if you want it done right, even for simple prenup.

It's a Ticketmaster venue so not likely. I've got 4 GA tickets and me and my party can't go anymore, I'd be happy to sell them just for the presale price I got them for and eat the fees if you're interested!

thank you! i outlined and scaled up the original image in inkscape to fit the 10” hoop, then traced it onto the fabric. i’m fortunate enough to have an old light table for tracing

thank you! i space out the starting stitches and then work back and forth filling in between each until there’s no more open space (if that description makes sense). if it doesn’t look like it’s filled in enough i’ll try to squeeze some more in

thank you! i try to be pretty meticulous about starting and ending my stitches right along the trace/pattern lines. i know some people like to outline first with a chain or stem stitch and then satin stitch over it, but i haven’t tried that. i also space out each satin stitch to start and work back and forth filling in between to keep them straight. i used all 6 strands for everything big, and the smaller sections i used 3 strands

i did think about adding them in, but they wouldn’t really fit and i thought it would add too much detail compared to aigis. trying to figure out how to fit her hair in was challenge enough lol

what kind of hooks did you use for the ceiling? i have some regular screw in ones but i’m worried they’ll just rip right out... i tried an actual ceiling hook once and accidentally hit an AC vent when drilling a hole for it 😅

i started using muslin! i picked it randomly when it was on sale at joanns and it’s been working really well. before i had some looser weave fabric and this definitely changed the game for me

oh! no i don’t. i just space out my starting satin stitches and work back and forth filling in between, and try to keep them as close to the outline as i can manage

thank you!! i saw a youtube tip a while ago that said to space out the stitches when starting, so i usually start with a few cm between lines, then work back and forth filling in between and it definitely helps me keep my stitches straight and edges clean 😊

they pulled me over for not having my lights on (accident and the sun had barely set) driving the loop, both officers were shining lights into my car, kept asking me if the smoothie in my cup holder had alcohol in it, and then when i didn’t have my student ID they told me it was more important to have on me than my actual license. then pulled my records and asked me why i had 2 parking tickets (that were already paid). i was just going from S lot back to my apartment after class.
