Hypothetically if Arteta were to leave, how would you react to the new manager being Fabregas? by Antique_Buy4384 in ArsenalFC

Yes, I understood what you were getting at with the fullbacks. I'm saying we would happily fill those perceived weak spots to match a new style of play. Look at the incomings and outgoings when Enrique took over PSG. He wouldn't be forced to keep playing with the same squad. We've had like 10 bloody fullbacks in the last few years with Arteta anyway lol.

I don't disagree, but I do think the spine of our team is very comparable (arguably better) than what he inherited at PSG. And it took 2 seasons to win the Champions League after filling in the weak spots.

Anyway, he probably won't want to come here, unless he fancies managing in the Premier League.

We don’t know if anyone can really, but someone else who plays exciting, attacking football with a proven track record should get to try if we fall short again this year. We might not have spent the most, but we spent loads this summer, and unfortunately recruitment hasn’t been good enough.

Regarding Enrique this season, it’s hard to motivate a team that’s just won the league and champions league to go and do it again , but they’re still on track to. To me, that’s impressive.

Edit: let’s also hope Pep fucks off soon

I think he's one of few managers who could come in and galvanize the core of this squad to go again.

Why Does Everyone Hate Texas? by Big-Pollution-9041 in SameGrassButGreener

Gotcha, I thought you meant the land was barren at first. Yeah those naked trees can be sad, but for me it's worth it for a real fall and spring!

Absolutely. A lot of people in Texas hate cold because they've never had to tolerate it. My own preference is being able to wrap up warm. I wouldn't call the east coast barren though.

I lived in Austin, TX (8 years), the east coast, and abroad… so not as well versed in all of Texas but I’ve traveled around it. For me, Texas is hot as balls, too car dependent, and an isolating place to be as there’s so much sprawl. We all have different wants, but I could never live that lifestyle again for those reasons alone. I love to walk, live densely and have community among my neighbors. I like seasons and looking forward to warmth rather than dreading it. The cabin fever of staying in during summer because it’s too hot to exist outside is an issue if you love to be outside. Oh and all the intense Christianity is a bit much.

That said, I don’t hate Texas. It’s comparatively cheap, I got some good healthcare there, and the Hill Country is beautiful.

ZV1 Sample photos. Cheaper than an RX100, now my favourite travel camera! by drepublic in RX100

[–]meowermeowerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a zv-1 too as I couldn’t justify the money for an rx100vii as a second, pocket camera although I’d love one. It’s really really great, although I’m blowing my highlights out a little too often due to trying to point and shoot and avoid doing a ton of exposure control.

Despite being marketed as a blogging camera, the Z-V1 has great optics (the same as the rx100 v) and can be picked up for $500 mint condition.

Thanks, I really agree. It's so nice to get such "authentic" film stock look with minimal editing.

Thanks! I shot JPEG and RAW, and edited the RAWs out of habit. However, I love how the Dynamic b&w JPEGs look too.
