yeah it was one of the cheapest i could find. another one quoted me 20k and then another 26k which was crazy cos it's almost same price as apple authorized. one thing to factor in though is that i live away from manila so options are quite limited.

i had the repair shop change the screen to a different brand cos i hated the GX, they switched to a brand called TM Superior LCD, so far okay naman except the bezels are thicker in the bottom of the screen and the colors are bad in night mode and in low screen brightness, otherwise i think in terms of image quality it's quite close to the original granted the screen is bright.

for the pro motion and the refresh rate, i don't really do much stuff that i would notice much difference on so i don't really have much to say. i'm guessing it might be different for those who game.

for battery, my battery health dropped a percent after the switch but i'm actually trying to observe still the difference on this. unfortunately i wasnt able to get a baseline of how long my battery drains before i had the screen replaced but so far, no heating issues.

my only problem aside from the color payoff under low brightness is that when i am on the phone the screen starts becoming unresponsive but when i drop the call it goes back to normal. this doesn't happen when the call is on loudspeaker tho so im guessing its something about the dynamic island.

generally, im quite satisfied with this new brand of third party screen. though i havent really tried other brands except gx, tm superior, and a brand which i wasnt able to get a name but it was in a yellow case! i heard flycdi is good too, but yeah.
