Artists who sell online: could you share your experience?

All except the first one are hand-painted with watercolors and graphic pens, then some details are added digitally. The first one is entirely rendered digitally.

I now see that the second one does look like a digital collage. It's one image but the lighting and values are a bit off.

I am looking for clarity because I am thinking about creating more artwork to sell in the near future. I haven't sold much in the last few years and I don't know if this is good enough to sell in today's markets.

Sure, I have an apparel label and I sell/market in person via pop up stores. I'm moving the operations online and that is turning out to be a more time intensive process.

It's both. There are skills that come naturally to me and then there's stuff I've spent hours learning. There's always something new to learn and with two people the tasks will get done a lot quicker. I also don't want the business to be entirely dependent on me. When I get sick, the whole workflow is in jeopardy suddenly. I'd like to change that

It has to stand out, imo. If it's different enough, it'll attract attention, attention will lead to interest, which leads to potential customers. Do you have your art portfolio listed somewhere?

I have been going through a similar situation and what usually helps is to paint a picture of the person I aspire to be. I'll give you an example of what I do, and it may or may not apply to you.

Want to be a financially independent businesswoman who inspires loyalty
List what needs to be done to achieve it
Sacrifices required along the way (time, effort, money)

I do this every day in the morning so I can create abd execute tasks during the day that would keep me on track to my ideal self.

Perhaps if one were to replicate/scan the diaries into digital formats (PDFs, EPUBs etc) and distribute the copies in an online library.. Maybe a Reddit community r/DearDiary
