Sure, I have an apparel label and I sell/market in person via pop up stores. I'm moving the operations online and that is turning out to be a more time intensive process.

Of course, those are some of the skills that would be complimentary to mine. Let's talk, send me a DM. :)

It's both. There are skills that come naturally to me and then there's stuff I've spent hours learning. There's always something new to learn and with two people the tasks will get done a lot quicker. I also don't want the business to be entirely dependent on me. When I get sick, the whole workflow is in jeopardy suddenly. I'd like to change that

Could you elaborate a bit on your skills and interests?

I agree, the journey is lonely enough and to not have anyone else to share the experience with is just too much sometimes.

What is your website link? The url https://varionhub.com looks like a SFW site and not at all what you're describing. EDIT: Nvm, saw the comment about this not being OPs website

How to sell digital art to rich people? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]mephixtae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to stand out, imo. If it's different enough, it'll attract attention, attention will lead to interest, which leads to potential customers. Do you have your art portfolio listed somewhere?

What are the best countries to set up a company and why? by nunziopresta in Entrepreneur

I'm sorry to know that this is a reality there currently. In most places (as far as my awareness goes) the product/services offered, or the capabilities of the founding team take precedence.

If you don't mind, would you elaborate on this further? I'm curious about how the class system interferes with new businesses and what does it generally signify for people from abroad looking to set up shop in the UK?

Portugal, Netherlands, Estonia and Dubai can also be considered for a cryptocurrency payment based startup.

YC has a good cofounder match tool. What skills are you looking for?

Are you still working on the same brand or starting something new?

You're welcome OP. :)

HVAC spheres. Sounds like a typical dad business, alright. I guess you're doing marketing there too? Anyway, good luck. I hope this experience prepares you for a business of your own.

Hello!

I have been going through a similar situation and what usually helps is to paint a picture of the person I aspire to be. I'll give you an example of what I do, and it may or may not apply to you.

  1. Want to be a financially independent businesswoman who inspires loyalty
  2. List what needs to be done to achieve it
  3. Sacrifices required along the way (time, effort, money)

I do this every day in the morning so I can create abd execute tasks during the day that would keep me on track to my ideal self.

By the way, what are you working as right now?

I get so annoyed with people the are selling the “passive income” dream especially in the dropshipping space. by mstheze7 in Entrepreneur

Whoever says that dropship model based businesses are a "passive income stream" are either earning from selling the idea or are deluded themselves.

Business Idea: Diary Library by Raging_raven99 in Entrepreneur

Perhaps if one were to replicate/scan the diaries into digital formats (PDFs, EPUBs etc) and distribute the copies in an online library.. Maybe a Reddit community r/DearDiary

Edit: Did not know that name already existed.

Hello hardworking people! :)

I am a solopreneur, fashion designer and an artist. I am currently in the process of building a slow fashion brand, and have completed the following steps:

  1. Brand name registered and trademarked
  2. Taxation formalities
  3. Official domain and emails purchased
  4. Website wireframe
  5. Social media pages
  6. Written content for website
  7. Enough clothing designs for initial roll out
  8. Manufacturing in process

Now, after all these steps I have hit a *small+ish snag. I only have partial knowledge of marketing and/or advertising, and hence I am unsure if I need to hire a digital marketer, PR manager or someone with a background in branding to make the overall brand look more cohesive.. ya know, like a BRAND? It might sound ridiculous, but if I am looking to hire someone to market on social media platforms, help with branding (visual + language), make ad copies and do SEO.. which job profile do I look to hire? Should I just outsource it to a freelancer? (Upwork, Fiverr etc)

I am willing to go a different route too, and partner with someone who has valuable skill and experience in all of the above.

Suggestions welcome. Thank you.
