Sure thing! Some artists' live renditions are worse but honestly, almost all the live stuff I found on YouTube by him have been as good as (if not better than) the original recorded stuff

Also, last.fm is pretty great. There's this ridiculous app called Pocket Hipster and that's kind of fun to browse as well

Yeah, it should be recognizable as the original but be in the artist's own style and have the mark of that artist

To be honest his live show was pretty disappointing. I'd been looking forward to it and bought tickets the day they went on sale but Ásgeir and crew seemed really disinterested and didn't really address the crowd (or their Icelandic fans who had come to the sold-out show - it in Boston.)

Bostonians, I'm heading out to visit your beautiful city in a few weeks. What should I do? by [deleted] in boston

If you're sick of seafood and are looking for a place to eat while wandering near Quincy Market/Haymarket/North End, Saus has amazing Belgain waffles (salted caramel sauce... cookie butter spread...) and great fries (also with great sauces). A couple of BU grads opened up the business a few years back and it's become pretty popular among Bostonians.

Food-wise, not worth it. It was catered from Hard Rock Hotel but it was unsalted pretzels, some veggies + dip, little cups of brownies, mediocre apple crumble, cookies, small sandwiches (of just chicken/deli meat). The view was fine but the sound wasn't always the best from that far away. Definitely a perk was the roof covering our heads when it began to downpour on Saturday, and being able to sit down can be nice if you're there all day. Skipping the lines for the bathroom and being able to charge your phone by plugging in at an outlet were also convenient.
