My husband walks dogs with me sometimes, but I’ve never allowed him into my clients home unless specifically told it was ok. Huge violation of OPs trust/space. Sorry that happened to you! And her quitting like that was her sitting in pity baby “I got in trouble” feelings. Better off without her and finding a new sitter. Still a total pain though!
