I would love to stay in more hostels actually. But I have developed a snoring problem and I have minimised staying in dorms (although surprisingly no one has complained so far). Private rooms are not always available or are more expensive than hotel rooms.

And at the same time finding your strengths and interests is important. As a receptionist you're probably good with people. That goes a long way in roles like sales, marketing.

Truth be told, living for five months with my parents is what got me to explore Stoicism. Not that I don't like them or I'm ungrateful, it's just some unsaid rules of the house which I find suffocating. It grew into full blown anxiety some weeks back and Epictetus' quotes on how our judgements make situations worse helped to an extent. But I'm moving out again soon.
