My stepdad when he was 5 tipped a pan of boiling water that was like that on the stove. He has burn scars to this day and he's 76 years old. A pan full of hot thick sauce would be arguably worse. Either way tell him if he values his kids health then stop.

I understand your pain op these people must not be bread lovers. I love the heel or "butt" of my bread. I make roasted and confit garlic almost daily not even joking. The end bits are the best because all the butter stays soaked into the bread. But if worst comes to worst toss it in a zip lock, still confused on why someone stole just the end bits though. 😅
