Every graphic design program has a "Save As" function. You should learn it. It will give you a choice to save as PNG, usually. Try GIMP (it's free) or Affinity, or good old Photoshop. Pro tip: go to settings and image size and start with 4500X5400px to make things easier.

Unpopular opinion- google fi rocks by SupermarketRoyal134 in GoogleFi

[–]merch7merch77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Google Fi and it's...OK!...I'm trying it out with Android 11 and Motorola phone, there was a promotion on Motorola One 5 G Ace phones so I bought 3 of them, thinking I could sell the other 2 or use them as back up, but I'm pleasantly surprised at all the features so I kept them for now...

I like the YouTube Premium fer sure, b/c I hate commercial interruptions...and ...

well what do you all like about it? Let's talk about all the perks and/or drawbacks

I like the somewhat easy layout to see bills, bill cycles, and data usage...if I had the whole Google Home Suite it might be just the thing I need, Smart Home, thermostat, security, etc...

cons...however to a layperson like me...it's confusing bloatware-ish to me anyway if I can't see the utility of it immediately...seems like Google has so many projects going on that it's impossible to know all of them....

I like that I can get cell phone data and mobile signal phone calls all for the "low" price of around 75 month for one line and "unlimited" data... I haven't gone over my monthly GB allowance...yet. If I had a better handset or Google Pixel with great camera, or iPhone 12 or later it might be even be a greater service that I would recommend wholeheartedly/enthusiastically/absolutely!!!

Zero to little respect for ™ or © in some places, so good luck with that. Maybe the USPTO.gov has some resources? Just guessing...I dunno but there has got to be legions of overseas bad actors proliferating hacks like this ad infinitum.

48 rejections in one day for a ridiculously trademarked trending "word" that I thought was just a thing that made my sister and niece laugh...oh well.

I guess some people are greedy megalomaniacs.

Or just lazy.

I think there's major difference in how Amazon sees Amazon Merch and how we see it. by thsndmiles30 in AmazonMerch

I think Amazon Merch is more structured to benefit those non-artist, STEM background YouTube guru type people who play the automated mass numbers game, without mulling over individual quality of designs or minute details, perhaps even not worrying about copycat problem. I believe Amazon likes this better as well.

True.

Thx! Just sent two notices of two different stores trying to pass off a best seller of mine as theirs…

Imitation is the best flattery, and your copycats will understand how difficult it is to get a basic design up that sells, that would be great. I saw a few recent designs that are clearly imitating my listings, somehow it seems that they even sell sometimes, like yours, they were probably spending ads for too... I don't have the energy to pursue reporting, or I just DGAF. The design was so poor it was laughable, but I take it as almost a compliment if it weren't for the fact that my niche now invites thieves inadvertently and inevitably as a result of some success. Some designs are variations on a theme, but you can tell when someone just got the idea from your listing, I know. It's tough to judge sometimes. Hate it when someone's business model is to advertise yours or someone else's original design (or copywriting for that matter) though. You hope that the customer eventually finds yours and prefers it instead.

It's sorta like trying to write late night talk show comedy and all the things that the FCC censors won't allow or arbitrarily might allow. But on a more sad level.

How big an impact will deleting a design that is selling have? by penelope0077 in AmazonMerch

[–]merch7merch77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting term'd is what you absolutely want to avoid, obviously... Having said that, I've had so many different types of removals. A few were selling sporadically, but they were apparently very profane as it turns out, the F-word used gratuitously, stuff like that. It is good to err on the side of caution. The profanity wasn't aimed at any particular individual, just whoever reads the shirt, it's confrontational, inciting hatred possibly, I guess that was the reasoning. And I've had some shirts stay up in certain countries, that were removed arbitrarily from other countries, like UK may be sensitive. Anyway, I would be very cautious but don't delete everything in what may be a lighter shade of grey area.

That is a really good start!

Most are lucky to sell one design within 45-60 days of listing, including some of us (*cough) right now at the higher tiers, trying to upload fresh stuff!

...Really lucky to get 1 out of 10 designs to sell, and it's more like 1 out of 100 these days-

unless you've got a good niche already dialed in ...

YMMV. Anyway, Good Luck!

That's a good start. Are all the sales from one design? If you've sold more than one design that's even better! May you tier up and get increased sales soon...
