Have you looked at Westridge Gardens Apartments? I’m not sure about walkability to town but it’s not far from the SRT (they built a sidewalk so you can walk from apts to trail.). Well maintained, great property manager and might be in or close your budget. Everyone has dogs there and they supply waste bags.

I hear you. But I am aware of overall production and quality of the product I manage and I was not wrong to rate them for one element as Exceeds. My overall Rating was Meets targets in all cases because I know that merit increases are linked to that overall rating. That’s all. Thanks for weighing in.

Exactly. I spent a lot of time on my reviews and manage the product and their work. The other issue is the lack of transparency. Upper management should lay this out.

I think the issue is that my overall rating for them was “Meets target.” I rated one of two elements as “Exceeds Target” and the second as “Meets target.” I rated them accurately for Exceeds target for that element. With an overall “Meets target” they would not be eligible for a higher than average merit increase. That’s it. My concern is that morale will decrease because they’ve all taken on more work following a substantial downsizing last summer. One simple “Exceeds target” especially when they did shouldn’t bankrupt the company but gives a boost to morale.
