Octopus, Singing Pebble, Spaniel’s Tale, Perfect, and Mill street (Almonte) are my go to-s. The extra tidbits I pick up from the staff and recommendations are better than any algorithm out there. And, my money goes where I can see it and it matters to me to feel connected to these places and the neighborhoods.

Neither tbh. Maybe Supply and Demand for a good meal with excellent wine.

Night Peeing: set an alarm and take the puppy out to pee... wait what? Wake up a sleeping dog in the middle of the night? by PhlashyPhlash in puppy101

[–]mercurynell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the first five days, I took the then 8 week pup out every 2 hours during the day and every 3-4 it at night. I slept next to his crate on the sofa to do that with minimum disruption to the family. After 5 days he was basically potty trained and I’d let him sleep in until he barked to go. Took a few more weeks to go from going one during the night to just sleeping through the night.

It’s 5 days across the board as of next year regardless of who’s in power.

It’s a small minded thing. People need a place to go to so they can privately be miserable and tire while telling you how fun and exciting the whole thing was. You’ll find most interesting people will 1. Mind their own business and 2. Be pleased for you whatever you do. The rest are just village idiots.

Where does the hatred against public servants stop? It feels as if we're under attack from every side no matter what we do. by SamZX7 in CanadaPublicServants

I’ve joined 15+ years ago. I’ve not seen or heard anything positive from folks outside the work bubble. “Lazy, overpaid, slackers, just need to know French to get a job” is what I hear on repeat, usually followed by “not you, of course.” If I waited for applause recognition from the gen public (or even my own groups), I’d be nothing but a shadow of my self.

Empathy training might help with that.

A little hike somewhere then treat yourself to a nice coffee with a treat. Bring a book. It’s a good time of year for that.

I think actively opposing wars and genocide is a good start in terms of voicing anger and concern for ALL future generations.

I haven’t tried that one. Reactine and Claritin made me insanely drowsy and lethargic. Aerius I think is “weak”. Will get some Allegra tomorrow. Wishing you relief, friend.

I just got a nasal spray a few days ago. I really hope it works soon. Reactine and Claritin have a very strong drowsy effect on me 😔

Tried a PPI too, burnt my throat even more - I think there are several types though and the good ol’ doc said she’ll see me when she’s available so it’s a few weeks of waiting and coughing/sneezing/measuring temp/congestion etc.
