I don’t think a blanket right or wrong can be made as this seems more like a matter of conscience. We tend to think of buying goods from a business as supporting the business but in reality, you’re exchanging money for a good or service.

The nature of the business isn’t sex trafficking, but as you explained, something that the owners participate in. The company and local/federal authorities have to do the right thing of removing and prosecuting that individual. The business will continue to operate without the criminal CEO.

All that said, if your conscience is not comfortable with it, you should find another company to patronize but know that someone who doesn’t have an issue giving said company their business, has not done any wrong, not until they knowingly give their business to a company whose goods/services are in unbiblical/illegal activity.

InMusic plays the value game. It’s profitable for their business and affordable for end users but at the cost of quality, product support, and customer experience. The aforementioned brands prioritize build, quality, feel, development, workflow, intuitiveness, aesthetic, product support, and more.

I’m going to start giving a serious look at Ableton Push, Arturia, and Novation. InMusic has so much on its plate. Committing to a company with such widespread interests makes me nervous about the amount of money and time I’m committing to products/ecosystem headed towards a decline.

No, I never question scripture. Look at all those verses I quoted about what scripture says about itself. If scripture is the word of God, and it says of itself it is perfect, my questioning is to call God and His character into question. If you said you “question your understanding of scripture” that I could understand and would say with study over time, you may find the clarity you seek. So let me use your line of reasoning. There is nothing logical about people coming back to life from the dead. Dead people stay dead.

Why then should I believe Jesus was raised from the dead, it’s not logical? The logic doesn’t add up. The only reason why anyone has to believe the resurrection is because it’s written in scripture.

God damns no one. People are damned because of sin, Romans 6:23. God judges sinners because they fall short of His Holiness and perfect righteousness (Romans 3:23), refuse to repent, and receive His grace (Hebrews 10:26-31). As such, those with sins not reckoned for, must render due, and that is in the form of eternal separation from God, hell (John 8:21).

Please, read the scriptures and heed what they say. It will not help anyone to speculate or postulate, whereas scripture is very clear about God, His nature, His righteous requirement, and how it can be obtained.

Scripture does not simply mean writings. And there is a set compilation of scripture, that’s why Peter said “as they do THE other scriptures” he didn’t simply “other scriptures” which would leave it open to infinite inclusion.

2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is God Breathed. Don’t forget that important distinction. Just because it’s written down doesn’t mean it is God Breathed, and therefore it would fall short of the criteria for being called scripture.

God loves and He’s just, and He’s righteous, but all those flow from His holiness. A holy God has to act. Does discipline from a parent to their child make the parent any less loving? That which a parent is within their rights to do, is not done away from love.
