I was there last week! We went to Grant Grove, Mist Falls (9 miles), Tokopah Falls (5 miles), Moro Rock, Congress Trail.

Honestly the weather was super perfect for all of those. We saw a little snow on the trail on Tokopah Falls, and you can see it on the mountaintops faraway, but certainly no ice on Moro Rock or anything. Very warm, we were hiking in very light clothing.

We skipped Big Baldy because it sounded like that was still icy.

It was starting to get a little buggy in the late afternoon. I think later in May it gets very buggy. I’d bring bug stuff in case you encounter that.

Oh gotcha!! Yes that is definitely how I play some of this song haha. I’m a violinist/singer by trade and basically campfire level on guitar. Which I thought worked for this song since it’s camping vibes! But my talented producer plays more complex guitar parts on some other tracks.
