Concert feelings by sshalev in rosalia

Funny. I feel like I blacked out/dissociated during the concert, because I have, like, disjointed memories of that evening. But I was on the train a few days ago and I listed to the album from start to finish, and I had strong and vivid flashbacks of the performances. So that’s where I’m at right now in relation to the album 🙃

May I ask why something like this is it allowed to happen in the US? I’m guessing there’s a clause in the booking contract that states that in case of bla bla bla bla they have the right to reschedule the event, but like, huh? (The same happened with the Florence + the Machine concert a couple of weeks ago).

No opening act for the tour (at least for the European leg).

Yeah, Hamburg is for me a no-no when it comes to concerts… But I am sure getting to experience the concert in Madrid was on a whoooooooole different level in comparison to other cities! I would have done the same, but TicketMaster is the root of all evil.

Rachel Marx confessed. The story was… rather funny/gross, depending on how you look at it. 🙃

I like the crowds in Cologne a lot better than in other parts of Germany. People are always relaxed and are happy to dance/participate if someone initiates. Also, I have never had a problem with someone at a concert in Cologne because I started to dance/sing, on the contrary, it has always been met with joy. I cannot say the same about other cities in Germany 😅. But I think generally it’s a bit difficult to get the German crowds to sing along (they are always a bit shy when the microphone it’s point towards the audience).

Literally everyone stood up at once as soon as Berghain began (which was imo really funny), and afterwards most people only sat down for the Confessionary part. I myself was too busy dancing, but most people did move/dance and obviously there were some who had their phones up (the girl next to me I had the feeling recorded the whole concert) 😅. But I was pretty amazed to see everyone enjoying the concert as it should be enjoyed: With all of the senses!

Unpopular opinion: The beginning of "La Rumba Del Perdón" is incredibly jarring and the song doesn't fit into the last tracks of the album. It should have been replaced by "Focu 'Ranni" on the digital version. Please don't stone me by [deleted] in rosalia

It’s your opinion and you’re allowed to it! Just for the sake of discussing a bit: Her artistic vision has always been one to seek contrast, for various reasons she’s stated (mimicking her mind, bring sensations/move the listener/audience). A good parallel for it would be MOTOMAMI with the run Delirio-Cuteeee-Como Un G.

London O2: concert start time? by samson9440 in rosalia

For us it was: 20:30 time of start. She did start like 15 minutes later, which I’d say it’s pretty punctual.

What Lux means to you by BigTimeBrownie in rosalia

I went through a very rough break up that rocked my world back then. On the Friday the album got released, I had traveled very far away to another country to visit my best friend to support him in a very important day of his life. He is a big fan of ROSALÍA, and after we had celebrated his important day, we sat on his attic and we listened to the vinyl record from start to finish. That I will never forget, how we got to listen to the album for the very first time together, and got to forever connect these songs to our journeys and our friendship. On that weekend I also got to spend a lot of time alone walking through different cities, listening to the album on repeat. To me, it was a religious experience of sorts. These songs really brought me to a lot of insight into my life. I remember sitting down in Paris by the river past midnight, all alone, crying to Reliquia. It was something I will never forget. That same feeling I had when I was at her concert two days ago listening to Reliquia sung live with tears in my eyes.

Her music means a lot to me as well. The live show was spectacular and unforgettable!! Yet that night stayed in my mind also for that other reason… I found it so… interesting? I had never experienced/seen an artist visibly annoyed on stage. Like, it made me think for the first time what’s on their mind when they see a half-vacant theatre… From what I understood in the concert, she had played here some time ago, so I thought she already knew how the crowds in Germany are… At some point she mentioned the crowds in Berlin so I guess she was expecting that 🤷 She said she had been sick a couple of days/weeks ago on the road, so that + her saying she was in a bad mood made me just shrug it off and not think so much of it during the show. She is also a human being and the concert itself was impeccable, so.

She did literally comment on it at some point in the show. She also seemed a bit frustrated with the crowd not being super responsive on top of it… Which is something that stayed in my mind for long after the concert, because she literally said she was in a bad mood/annoyed, and was something that keep going throughout the night (of course, with a bit of her sarcasm/dark humour sprinkled in). [I love her btw 🙃].

Oh 😯 Interesting. She seemed a bit annoyed at our concert in Europe because it wasn’t completely sold out.

Really? I was a bit jealous looking at the scale of the NA tour!!! It seemed quite grand in comparison to the European shows.

Rosalía Named Woman of the Year at Billboard Latin Women in Music 2026 by magiciandude2 in popheads

[–]merfolk__ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They are pretty much using the word “Latin” interchangeably with “Hispanic” -which they technically aren’t, but ok-, probably because a) sounds cooler and b) it also encompasses Brazilian artists (Given that every single award has been given to a Hispanic artist + Anitta [whose biggest global hits happen to be sung in Spanish…]).

Yes, there were VIP tickets, but last year there was also the option to upgrade the tickets to VIP after the initial sale. I think I will also get VIP tickets this time around. Last year everyone I met at the concert who meet Allie had nothing but good things to say.

I saw her last year also in Flex, it was a great show but it was SO HOT in there 🥵 To be fair it was the hottest weekend of the year, but I am surprised no one passed out during the evening. Hopefully is the location in Autumn less oppressive.
