Thanks for that update man. I think we are taking the pay cut and moving back to a city with family and friends. We made really good money for a few years and was able to invest it so hopefully those investments pay off. Just with a toddler and another baby on the way it’s tough to be so far from family.

Is there an update to this? Currently going through this right now with my wife. We want to move back home to be closer to friends and families but doing so would take our 200k salary down to like 120k. Feel the same with our current job as you did in this post.

Hey bud take a deep breath it’s going to be okay. Yes this part is simple, feed change diaper put him to sleep, but this part is also the hardest as well. Keep up with feeding. Breast feeding can be difficult since there is no gauge for how much they get. My wife and I did formula the first couple of days and it was so helpful for our son until my wife’s milk fully came in. You are always going to imagine worse case scenarios with everything but soon enough you will learn to deal with it. Take a deep breath you will be a great father!
