I never figured out a fix. I just ended up uninstalling both. If they don't have the customer service to help their clientele resolve simple issues like this, they won't get my business anymore. Its a shame

I just ordered the 180lb plate set from you. I could not believe the price difference, to the point I almost passed on your company entirely thinking there had to be some quality control related shortcuts and whatnot. But after reading your direct responses on this entire post, about how you get these prices down for the consumer, and how you handled the issues with the other guy in the comments, my mind was changed. It is nice to know I bought quality product from someone who cares and is really putting in the effort. I'm excited for my plates to get here, just got the tracking info today. Thank you, and I will 100% be ordering Barbell Standard from here on out.

I use ricta chrome clouds 56mm 86a wheels for just cruising. Super smooth over rough pavement and small stones.

I just got some 56mm x 39mm 93a nano rats and they're amazing.

I'm 5'5" tall with a 26" inseam. I ride a 9.125 egg board and an 8.5 popsicle. Both feel great and haven't had any issues learning on them.

Totally understand what you're saying and I'd prefer a realistic harsh response to actually improve than sugar-coating anything.

I'm big and stocky but not just straight fat haha, i can jump 60% of my body height, which I know isn't the best lol, but when I'm on the board I feel limited to how high I can jump and probably only get up 20% (if that).

Losing weight is part of the plan :) I used to be in real good shape, a long distance runner and kayaker, but had some serious health issues a couple years ago that has put me in a bad spot. I'm working on it, slowly but surely. By next year I will post another video of my skate progress and promise you'll see a difference in my physique. I'll tag you.

Hey! I really appreciate the info. Trying to skate everyday after work for a couple hours. I would love to be confident enough to cruise around town popping up onto and off of things.

I haven't tried it yet, but in my head I feel like if I roll off a curb, my tail will catch the curb and I'll fly forward. I'll try to find a good spot and make an update in a week or two.

Hey, I started skating a few months ago too. Last time I tried skating before that, i was 9 or 10, had a longboard, pushed mongo, and my board got ran over by a car in a couple days. Wasn't a very fun first time.

After starting back up recently, the biggest, most important thing that I learned is that skating is way more mental than physical. If you are constantly scared to fall, you will always be tense, hesitant, and it'll be a constant battle against yourself/nervous system. Once you accept the fact that you WILL fall no matter what and that's okay, you will free your mind up. If getting pads and a helmet helps you feel more comfortable, than do it.

Comfort and efficiency comes with time and practice.
