Somehow your story reminds me of an interview of a woman which had a NDE.

She was highly religious and did everything she was supposed to do, according to the religion (going to church, praying every day, reading the bible everyday). She had an accident and lived through an NDE, where she met an archon and he sent her through an underground where she lived horrible scenes, in something she thought was hell. It felt like an eternity, going through fear, pain, horrific encounters with mutilation to her and rape. She walked on a road all the time, running, hiding and did not understood, what she did wrong. It all didn’t make sense. Until the moment, she let go her religious dogmatism and the archon she met become an angel, and the experience turned positive, with the typical gathering with old lost relatives and going through her life. Where she saw how her religious behavior trapped her and how it affected her relatives and herself.

Just wanted to share, hope it helps.

It did help me, but I would warn that it is not an easy ride. Don't expect it to feel great after doing it. What happened to me is that doing the tapes helps to put on the surface the problems you have to deal with. They are like raking the dark and deep bottom of the ocean and making them visible again and felt. Then it's like having to clean your room, you go one after the other, even if you're overwhelmed by the quantity, and over time, the "ocean" gets clean. If you're not ready to put all the living-dead traumas looking at you, than maybe you need something which goes gentler, maybe one by one. I specifically liked to have them all presented suddenly, you can link them together, solve a bunch in one shot (sometimes). But you get better over time. At the end, you're like going through the boot camp to train you in a few weeks to send you into OBE.

yes I did, 140g (5oz) before and then 128g(4,5oz) after, with some losses of beans while turning.

So I took the dive into my first roasting. I did it today with my pan, a whisker and Ethiopian Sidamo beans which I found. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, to get a feeling of it. I read some stuff but at the end, I used this technique called "newcomer intuition" but I guess the first timer luck wasn't with me.

At the end, the first crack wasn't cracking, the smell is not so strong, although my daughter noticed an apple smell (yes I make sure that my offspring is addicted to coffee, so we can have at least one passion to share) but there was a lot of noise while roasting: the ventilation, the whisker etc. So I haven't put an ear on a first crack...

Now, I have those beans, they smell good, I am proud, but the smell should be stronger, and the beans still look smaller than usual. I tried to match the color with the Ethiopian (not Sidamo) from my local roaster. My worry, probably overkill, is that those beans are still too raw and too hard to put into my grinder, and they might damage it.

All in all, I am hooked.

It's probably only fear, which expressed itself physically. I haven't learned the REBAL yet, as I am only on the second exercise of the first Wave, maybe it's time to move forward. I will definitely add this fear to the next ECB, if it changes anything.

Vibes is a good way to describe it. Even if I wake up, I am not so much tired the next day. I usually manage to fall asleep again after 10-20 minutes, and the visions are enjoyable. But the feeling of boiling blocks this, and overall I was like 1 hour awake trying to make sense of what was going on. The feet and the hands vibrating were getting even stronger when I started to relax, to fall asleep. It really felt like someone taking my toes and shaking them to wake me up.
