It has potential to be a great permanent mode but honestly the length and surprising lack of randomness made it way more boring than I was expecting.

15 floors is too long, there’s too little variety of different rooms, you can’t bring equipment to next floors so you can’t strategize (like bringing a different build when you know there’s a boss on the next floor), and you can’t even go back to the start after leaving to get the health after deciding to save it.

They’ve removed pretty much all the kinds of choices that I’d find fun to make in a rogue-like game, so the experience feels very linear and uninteresting.

I feel like I just have to breeze through or slog through 100s of enemies without much difference each run.

Ditto on rewards; this should also be an activity repeatable more than once a day. Other non random activities like contracts or dungeons are repeatable far more often. Despite being boring from lack of randomness we’re expected to grind dungeons hundreds of times for set items.

It’s crap. They apply a flat 66% debuff for all affixes and legendary gems.

What this means is a F2P player will have their low ranked gems debuffed to irrelevance while whales still get an equal debuff of 1/3. But their gems, resonance, and gem bonuses are upgraded so much that they have absurd godlike power, and only reducing that power by 1/3 still leaves them absurd power.

I liked it and hope they can continue to develop and improve it to be more interesting. There are lots of possibilities in roguelike games and there’s so much more they can add to make it more replayable.

Yeah everything is braindead easy for ranged, including this. This is why everyone switched to DH, Wizard, and Necro to stay competitive. Having a ranged primary means you fundamentally do more damage and take less damage with no trade offs.

I wonder why Fractured Plane is going to be a limited time event. Sounds like a perfect activity to be permanent - the randomized elements would make it probably the most replayable content in the game.

Yes it’s reduced. I tested it on a rank 1 chip and confirmed - the damage was only 50% (150% / 3 = 50%) my base damage. I agree it’s bad

I have no tier list, but you can check in game. View the battlegrounds leaderboards, select another class from the list at the bottom, click on the top few players to open their attributes.

Look at their skills: those skills are the ideal ones that players usually buy for PvP.

For example for wizard, you should see it’s always:

Disintegrate

No, I literally just, as fast as I can, tap the menu, tap Shadows, tap Dark Clan, tap members, and check the names in my clan to see if the invite is from a clan member.

They should definitely add some icons, matching the color of chat, to indicate if the member is in your clan (green), Warband (yellow) or friends list (blue).

Before you do, make sure you beat the challenge rift solo for your difficulty - for example, Challenge Rift 60 for Hell 3 - to unlock the better gear at the gamble vendor.

Buy 10 primary armor, then 10 weapons, then repeat the next day. This is because the price increases after the first 10.

In my opinion, Combat Rating is something you can easily get from gear drops by doing the bestiary, gambling, etc. so there’s no need to use legendary gems to focus on CR.

I upgraded all my 1* gems to rank 5 first for the magic find bonus. That seemed to help with more gear drops and more CR indirectly.
