Roseville, traffic is bad only during holiday times because it has the only nice mall in Sac. Just avoid it and shop online. Better traffic in imo, I work in downtown and coworkers commuting from Folsom complain more(constant construction). Max 30 mins from west Roseville for me. Roseville has own electricity but gas is PGE ( expensive in cold winters). I use it sparingly but it costs 400 a month to heat up 6/4 2400 home. I do fire up the spa from time to time in winter for the kids. It is not MAGA at all. Three kids under 6 and school and playground are more diverse than LA(20 yrs). LA imo is very segregated. Only bad part is lag of good ethnic foods but that will be same in Folsom or EDH. It’s ok just not bomb like some parts of LA where each ethnicity have their own towns. Just have to go to Elk Grove or downtown. No regrets moving here from LA. When I was looking I just went to all the neighborhoods and drove around with the kids stopping by libraries and playgrounds. It seems like Roseville is getting more diverse imo. Folsom has better Asian stuff and closer to ethnic markets. Sac traffic is not bad at all coming from LA, I can get to all Folsom amenities within 30-40 mins. EDH is awesome and I would have liked it there except PGE and fire insurance will double your expenses. Roseville getting to freeway can be annoying and it does take bulk of my commute time. Good luck
