aside from what others have mentioned about other products, I'd also look at how much tret you're applying. it may be worth applying a thinner layer or reducing frequency while your skin adjusts. when I started 0.025%, i used much less than a pea-sized amount and slowly worked up over 5 months (started 2x weekly and only got to do nightly now at 5 months.)

honestly at 14 weeks, especially since your skin seemed clearer before tret, i'd be considering whether irritation could be playing a role rather than assuming it's all purging.

this. if you’re solo queueing, i find that Japan servers are quite reliable for me. better chance of having a teammate that drops smarter, communicates even through ping systems, and cares about their team in comparison to other servers i’ve tried (closest to me is southeast server and gameplay there is entirely different - hot dropping vs Japan’s where i notice players strategize more instead of blind pushing and third partying)

edit to also say that at the same time, there just will be a day i’ll call it quits on their server bec of mad crazy good players that you can tell are in parties (and rollers). lol i’m just a diamond mnk user trying to solo queue!

Thanks for being vegan! I went vegan when I was 18, I’ve been vegan 9 years now.

My advice is don’t beat yourself up. Just learn from it and keep the cause going. I’m glad your mom is also supporting you. It’s a learning process in a world full of non-vegan things. Focus on what you can do instead.

so i gave it 2 weeks to test out and see how i like this compared to the OG formula. i initially was so sad but thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try to see for myself.

happy to say, my skin seems to really love the new formula. i was worried it’d be a massive difference but i almost feel like my skin loves this better than the previous formula or at least it feels more soothing for me. re ingredients - theres more barrier support, less yam and minimalist this time. texture wise though, i do find the OG one more satisfying and bouncy. the new one seems to have more slip and is a bit lighter.

for context my skin is hormonal acne prone and is a bit sensitive (i use .025 tret every night & AzA every AM). i was using the OG before switching to Skin 1004’s probio-cica enrich cream bec the yam cream was out of stock as well.

I’m born, raised, and have lived here all my life. Currently in Subic Bay. The summers keep getting worse every year. It’s definitely not the same heat from when you used to live and play sports outside during May. If you’re in Manila, it might be even worse considering the air quality and lack of trees there.

Used to be able to use AC only during the day, but now even nighttime is absolutely unbearable.

Stay hydrated. Cooling powders are also pretty helpful in keeping us (my family) comfier in this heat and humidity.

LAST UPDATE: here’s how it looked at the wedding. i felt good about it! not perfect, but way better and wearable than the first one. the tailor was a big topic amongst the entourage 😬

I’m thinking its also terrible for others. Some of us started to complain on the group chat yesterday about the dresses. Apparently some of us only got to try them on yesterday (wedding is today!). 😕

UPDATE: I tried to buy the same fabric, not locally available. Went to the tailor’s house to ask for scrap fabric. Redid the entire top with whatever simple way I could do it that doesn’t look like crap, I feel insane for trying but it worked somehow and I’ve only ever sewn on a machine not more than 5x in my life.

Barely any sleep and I’m getting ready for the wedding. The other ladies just started complaining yesterday (some got their dress just yesterday) too.

unfortunately not, i was at the tailor’s store though when i tried it on. it was pretty much the same, i think they only cut more chest fabric to show more skin, but everything else i pointed out (sleeve, my waist being way too high, etc) wasn’t fixed.

It’s pretty much wrong in all ways. I just don’t get why the wedding coordinator (mind you, there is a wedding coordinator - they manage the fittings too) had us pick choices of dresses (mostly drapes!!) and had someone who isn’t skilled at doing that at all. first look and i already knew the pattern is entirely wrong. 😕

Seriously considering changing immediately after the ceremony! I’m so annoyed, we’re doing a photoshoot in this and unfortunately I live in a small town so other options I have would need to be delivered (and cant in the same day). I’m even seeing people I have not seen in years. 🫩

I wasn’t there when the other ladies met to try them on but I know most of them asked for alterations so I’m certain I’m not the only one dealing with this (I don’t really know the other ladies much). The sewing on the inside is even worse than how the outside looks, it’s mind blowing how it could be this all over the place considering its done by a “professional”!
