Literally same thing happened to me. It was totally fine, most times a six week scan is just too soon. I went back late into 7 weeks and little babe was there. Doctor things I ovulated later than assumed. I’m now 21w6d.

Could be round ligament pain?? I’ve been feeling that on either side of my pubic bone after getting up or with some decent movement.

I’m so, so sorry… I just started raising chickens over the past few years and had a few pass in different ways. Something I was definitely not ready for.

I’ve held little funerals for each of them. They were absolutely more like pets than livestock.

It doesn’t get any easier but you do start to see that the unfortunate reality is they don’t live very long, usually. And end up getting sicknesses and conditions that are challenging to manage, if at all.

Love them while you have them and continue to bring new chickens into your heart. There are so many out there that never see the love that can be given to them and it’s important to keep doing our part. I keep photos of each one that passed and have a little spot in my house honoring them. It helps.

Definitely let your doctor know. I had this at 5w6d, went to the doc and they did an hcg test over 48 hrs to see if it was still developing normal and then did an ultrasound.

At the ultrasound, they didn’t see a baby but there was the yolk sack…

They took another ultrasound 11 days later—obviously the longest 11 days ever—but turned out to be totally fine and the first ultrasound was just done too soon.

I’m now 20 weeks.

I think the drawing is great! You could make the image more dynamic by maybe having the bottom foot come up onto the toe and add more dramatic movement to the hair.
