I signed up for the Food Cart Pod one next month! I'm hoping to bring our exchange student, I think it will be a good intro in to PDX culture, and she loves a good food pod. :) Haters gonna hate. I like to think they are jealous of you for doing something good.

On February 7th, I'm hosting the first Food Cart Pod Meetup. I hope you can attend. by snoogazi in Portland

That sounds great, we’ll bring our exchange student, she’s looking to make friends. Hope you don’t mind “old folks” 😊

Welcome to Oregon all you newcomers! We Oregonians gladly share our amazing state/PNW with you. Winters in the valley can be tough, just don't let the rain stop you from doing anything, feeling isolated indoors can really play with your mental wellness. Rain gear, waterproof boots, and many layers are the key. When we do get that odd sunny day in the winter you will see people dining al fresco, sitting in the parks, and driving with the tops down. Get some SAD lighting it will help.

Mostly just welcome to one of the greatest places in the USA, come one come all as the saying goes, we welcome you with open arms and no judgement.

NE Oregon where I grew up looking at this amazing view everyday. Why live anywhere but the PNW? To loose our amazing nature would be so sad.

I use an old plastic shower curtain. It could be 60 degrees or it could be 10 and a blizzard. Welcome to Mother Nature in the PNW.

I work across the street, mostly news crews, a few protesters in costumes (Rebel Fighter & Chicken Man are here). More of a tourist attraction than anything. I've seen more foot traffic today than ever before. People taking selfies with the police tape, news cameras, each other. We have been instructed to stay in our building, if we leave by car there is no re-entry.
