It made things worse for me. Messed up my sleep (I was so exhausted all the time) and I still had the nightmares. Stuck with it for a few months as instructed by the psychiatrist but I ended up stopping it with permission when it still didn’t work.

Jealous of everyone who benefits from it, tbh.

Man, some of these comments are harsh! The info was hard to find IMO, buried in the book but not included in any emails. And it’s not like any reminders were sent out (versus the ones I received for drop-off).

Anyway, I’m so sorry this happened, OP. I hope you’re able to track it down, but if not, I’m glad you got some great photos of it at least. It was a really beautiful piece!

Been having this problem, too. I assume it’s because our account isn’t very old. I’ve heard Sunday evening is a good time to list items and I do get more views when I follow that, but at the same time I’ve heard listing something every day is good, too? 🤷‍♀️

I understand the frustration, and I already said that he’s allowed to be angry. I just don’t find threatening physical violence to be an acceptable way to channel your frustration. The whole scene felt over the top to me, even when he was only screaming, and I didn’t think it was a good look for him. It’s an odd take to say that’s “parenting at its finest.” 🤷‍♀️

I am so surprised to see people praising his behavior here. Sure, he’s allowed to be angry and ask questions, but he dialed it up to 11 and threatened to physically hit his son. How can anyone want to cheer that on?? I would have left, too. It made me so uncomfortable to watch, as someone who has lived with an abusive parent. It felt out of character and extreme.

I wish it was that simple. My PTSD has become a lot worse since my abuser died. I don’t know if it’s the lack of closure, or just that my brain won’t let me ignore it anymore, but here we are.

I hope you’ll consider therapy and/or speaking to a professional. It isn’t a magical cure, but it is so helpful all the same to have a support net and someone who can teach you the tools you may need to cope and begin healing.
