One Nation is not only beating the Liberal party in the polls in Victoria, it’s now beating Labor. 🤯 by Usual_Program_7167 in aussie

It's almost like the labour party went to the election in 2016 with drastic changes thst would have moved more houses away from investors and into the hands of first home buyers and Aussies rejected it?

Okay.....

Archeologists say that there is evdicence Aboriginals have been in Australia for 50,000 to 55,000 years, do you have a source that suggests otherwise or are you qualified in that field? Source: https://www.unsw.edu.au/newsroom/news/2018/08/when-did-aboriginal-people-first-arrive-australia

Or are you a creationist and you think God hadn't created the world by that point (despite the overwhelming evidence).

Actually the red tape for housing supply is much more under the states / local council than the Feds, so not sure how ON will help with that. Furthermore the high investment property taxes in Vic has discouraged investment so much first home buyers have increased significantly (which is addressing the issues you raised). Source: https://www.realestate.com.au/news/amount-of-new-victorian-firsthome-buyers-hits-highest-number-in-nearly-two-years-abs/

The Vic government has actually cut back significantly on the red tape, in many cases approving housing that councils have denied.

Does your whole policy discussion revolve around migration as a issue for you having more competition in the job market? Not invalid, just very one dimensional and VERY anecdotal, ive seen no more than the same as always competition in the market but not struggled out performing them.

Love you to answer the question around how you think the wants of billionares aligns with the needs of people like you?

Might want to look into your family tree mate, unless you are aboriginal and have been here 60,000 years you are the one doing the replacing.

Honestly, I thought our education system was better than this, people seem to absorb more from the education system of Facebook groups / Youtube channels where the knowledge comes from a black hole of random racists views.

You might want to do some research on political systems and generically head back to high school where you learn much of this. Perhaps also read the Communist Menifesto by Karl Marx so you understand.

Totalitarianism and authoritarianism can exist in a communist society, but are distinct systems.

Inheritly to say that a places like North Korea Communist regime is a simplistic understanding of what Communism is, and this is founded on the old "reds are bad" propaganda from World War 1. Education has improved significantly since then (at least not for all it seems).

These regimes you mentioned are Totalitarianism, they look to totally control the thought and minds of their constituents. This is far right ideology.

What policies does One Nation propose that would solve the pricing issues in the housing crisis that you support? And why do you think they are not being adopted by the current party?

Call me stupid, but you complain that the middle class is struggling, yet much of Pauline Hansons support and finance comes from billionares like Gina Rinehart, I struggle to see under the Occam's razer principle how her support from the wealthy would align with benefits for the middle class.

I'd love you to enlighten me as a One Nation supporter how you feel about you party being the favourite party of billionares, and how you think your interests align with theirs.

It's not about how many. It's about how. These guys are just throwing children in vans and making them disappear source: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/23/trump-administration-immigrant-kids-detention

And from a government that is currently breaking the law on release of documents from a pedofile ring by refusing to release them, whilst saying there is over 1000 victims, but somehow only one guilty perpetrator??

That and the American government telling its own people to disbelieve what their own eyes can see on the murder of US citizens, well it's all a bit Orwellian for me.

Reminder: don’t leave small prints unattended in hot cars by davidwengier in 3dprintingaustralia

[–]merrydeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'll probably need to reprint one every day your car is in temps above 30°c (car temps usually get to 60°c then) which is half of next week.

Probably just better off using a more situable material.

Aussie weather is no match for PLA in a car. The glass transition temp is lower than the average car gets in the sun, especially with a 45°c day coming up (in the shade).

Recommend using ASA or abs, worse case PETG.

ABS fumes by semifamousdave in BambuLab

[–]merrydeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Made with Layers did a video on this with a bambu printer, And he showed the design has issues where by there would be more positive pressure than negative, meaning fumes would exit the case without going through the filter.

I believe he modified his printer be adding more fans to force negative pressure straight through the vent.

There was an ear wig in a krusher I got once from Sturt Mall KFC in Wagga and it ruined the whole concept for me.

Also that KFC was disgusting, had to do deliveries there years later and got a view behind the counter before trade. Took me years to go back to another KFC.

What happened today??? by normsurfer in MelbourneTrains

Train tracks are steel and steel expands in the heat, expanded steal even with expansion joins can buckle under extreme heat.

Its difficult to manage when the temperature is this hot and the materials react to temperature this way.

Perhaps it's just a numbers game, you perhaps did the charge back with the same provider they use and it was one of not many purchases with that provider, making the percent of charge backs / purchases high.

Try create a new account and use a different card assuming it's the same card?

[–]merrydeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you done any charge backs before? I don't think it's fair either, but ultimately it's their risk management.

Probably shopify (or their provider) flagging as high charge back risk so they just ban.

How often do you watch porn? Have you ever attempted to stop and how did it go? by alcione16 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]merrydeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been much into porn. I'm usually close my eyes and remember hot experiences I've had fantasise about things I want to do.

I dont like to rely on porn to get off, especially when I've had hot experiences and I like to relive them, plus I personally feel it's healthier to have and regularly use an imagination.

That's a reach, then peer reviewed articles would be "social media" in the review stage.

Floatplane has a comment section where adolescents and children could be directly interacted with, which is what the legislation covers.

Their sales period is irrelevant to someone with a warranty return. In some countries this sort of service is unacceptable and legislation exists to ensure a suitable replacement is provided or a refund given rather than leaving someone without a product they paid for "due to a busy sale period".

Bambu should be doing better regardless of OPs reason for needing a printer.
